I REALLY think they should've used another character instead of Deadpool for... that.

Maybe Omega Red.

Kane would have made more sense for Weapon 11. But if they took out all those rediculous cameos, even Gambit's was pretty lame even though the dude playin him nailed the part, it was still pointless. Blob's aswell. If they took all that s#$% out and focused on Creed and Logan, this movie could have been hot.

From now on, I'll call Bolt the most cost-cutting effective mutant ever. He required, like, zero sfx to show his skills. Just a light dimmer and some magic props.

for promotion they always edit them and make them shorter.

Watchmen is considered a great comic book film of our time? Riiiiight :whatever:
did you see Watchmen? Did you read the novel?
Most likely not.... Watchmen was a very very good adaptation to the novel. And yes it is one of the best CBM of all time

Overall, I agree. Watchmen is definitely one of the better comic adaptations inspite of the ending being different and most of the smaller characters getting little screen time. What I didn't like was all the unnecessary graphic violence that wasn't in the comics. The fate of the pedifile Rorshack encounters was different in the comic. The first prisoner who dies while confronting Rorshack during the jail riot also died differently in the comics. I'm very curious to see what the director's cut will be like.

I have a feeling that the pedophile's death will be different than the Theatrical one.

Back to Wolverine...

I think the reason Synder upped the ante in the movie was to give it the same impact as the comic. When the comic came out, comics were still pretty rigid about what you could show in terms of violence. Watchmen was shocking at the time, for it's level of violence. Since then, things have changed. The level of violence isn't quite as shocking in the comic anymore because audiences have become desensitized a bit. What Synder was doing with the violence was the equivelent today of what Watchmen was doing in the 80's.

No. What Snyder did was add more violence.... because that's all he can do.... because he has directing ADHD.

Whatever. I'm going to see it tuesday regardless of the good and/or bad reviews.

Adding more violence to a film does not mean a director has ADHD.

That's like how many newbs/fanboys always call a Director a hack when they simply don't like his work.

It's an immature and flat out incorrect.

If you didn't like the slightly more violence in the film that's fine but saying a director has ADHD because of that is one of the biggest and laughable WTFs I've ever had.

I like how you can use hyperbole against certain things.... but once you hit something certain... "**** THAT MAN!"

There is no way I'm giving FOX more money to destroy this franchise.

Correct me if I am wrong but back when X-3 was in production there were many many rumors that Omega Red was suppose to be in X-3 as well as Gambit. Now Fox added them to wolverine to make up for it but from what I heard they still messed up the character of deadpool uggggh.

Edit Omega Red is not in wolverine my bad lol.

Fanboys are so funny sometimes, you'd think movies determine ones life and death when reading these forums :p

And I'm sure this debate will continue into well into August, I have no doubt.

We do post on a forum dedicated to super heroes.

Why would someone report the cinema verson is the same as the leaked verson? Firstly it shows many conflicting points...

1. That this person has seen the leaked verson.... possibly more than once.
2. That they have seen the theatrical movie before its officle release.
3. For a report that detailed, im guessing that they have had the ability to compair the leaked which they probably downloaded but then have access to multiple viewings of the theatrical release... So what do they now have a leaked verson of the theatrical?
4. The person who watched is an x-men fan...
5. Who exactly was this report for? someone who has seen the work print and the theatrical verson and although not alowed to talk about it confirms that the pieces are the same? isnt that talking about it?

most people who think watchmen is great ARE PEOPLE WHO READ WATCHMEN

like me.

i think we can admit that now

I have two friends who haver never read Watchmen before, and they loved it.

And also, on the violence thing, Snyder actually IMPROVED on some scenes in the book....mostly the scene with the fat dude. I didnt like they just killed him, and left him there....the cutting the arms off was a better idea IMO.

The whole reason they changed the Grice scene was because people are dumb as ****, and would think that scene was a SAW ripoff....
