I like how you can use hyperbole against certain things.... but once you hit something certain... "**** THAT MAN!"
I wouldn't really say he had ADHD. And really, it didn't have that much more violence in the movie than the comic book had.
You could be right, maybe Synder just wanted more violence, but I always viewed it as appropriate if you wanted to make Watchmen the movie as shocking as Watchmen the comic book was in today's time.

Same character I'm pretty sure but he's never referred to as Sabretooth in this film. He becomes more and more feral throughout so perhaps his memory degrades as well? Loses some of his higher brain function when he becomes more animalistic? That's not in the comics but he's an idiot in X1 compared to this movie.
I think that the Statue of Liberty fight has less weight than it did before. They have a history...but it doesn't even matter because neither remembers it. Even if they never knew each other they would still be fighting. There's that vague familiarity they seem to have for each other...but it never pays off in the trilogy. Maybe the most amusing part of the climax of X1 after Wolverine is that Cyclops blows Sabretooth away. Also the choreography is a little underwhelming after what's done in Wolverine.
I personally was completely disappointed with how Sabretooth was handled in all of X1. I didn't think the statue of liberty fight had any weight to it to begin with, because it was quite obvious neither of them had any clue who the other was, aside from Sabretooth who seemed to have a tiny inkling. However, even then, you didn't really care because Sabretooth was an idiot. He shouldn't have been in the movie to begin with. His role would have been filled much better by a thug character like Blob.
And I'm really looking forward to the fight scenes in Wolverine, simply because I've been underwhelmed by all his fights thus far. Too much wirework and not intense enough.

That goes without saying!
