The Flash costume thread

Haha yeh but Caps and Bats arent traveling as fast as the speed of light.

I was more so talking about the use of his suit with his powers as in recent iterations of his suit seems to be quite techy as to say that it helps his body not tear apart when moving so fast. But yeh thanks, kinda answered it anyway with the aura thing which is similar to Superman. :)
Save</span>

No his body doesn't tear apart. I think he needs a solid clothing that won't burn apart or disintegrate when he runs in the DCEU though. Which makes sense. The speed force force field is to tacky to explain in film. The CW show didn't even do it, they said the leather suit is resistant. It obviously looks like it is just leather biker suit but whatever. Atleast the DCEU suit will be better.

Beat you UltimateMarvel.. this is his work.. looks ABSOLUTELY Brilliant!!

May he rest in peace and all that, but I really don't like the way he drew the Flash. Way too chubby for my liking. And for someone who is supposed to be a runner.

Nah, he just drew Flash like a muscular 100m sprinter as opposed to a long distance runner. Dont get me wrong, I favour Flash being on the 'long distance' lean side, but Ringo was awesome.

That's 90s style, some artists drew many heroes more buff than they should look.
In the 2000s he drew lean bodies for Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four (except the Thing, that one remained a big boulder guy).
I don't know who else he drew.

You make a fair point.

I looked up the guy's work afterward and it did surprise me to see his Spider-Man looking pretty lean.

Generally, I never liked 90s style much, I remember some particularly over-the-top X-Men runs. I think it has more to do with coloring than art itself though... it tends to be rather hard on the eyes.

I personally prefer Mike's Flash like this:

Wow... I'd never tell this is the same artist. This is much more to my preference.

I love the new suit but there are two things that just make me shake my head in disappointment. First being the lack of his yellow boots, but I can live without as long as they add more yellow to the shin areas. But the second...just why? Why get rid of the white circle behind his lightning bolt? It wasn't detracting from anything, in fact, it added to the suit by making the bolt pop out against the red. That one circle is all I'm asking for.

Is this what it looks like? If that's a modernized Delorean I'm completely in. If that's the suit he's rocking for all of his superhero antics I'd rethink it.

I'm hoping Flash's suit will be like Batman's in the sense that he has the regular suit and then he has the armor for time traveling and hitting lightspeed.

This is just an edit of the HyperSonic Flash suit from Infinite Crisis. And no, this is not the suit he'll use, it's the design used for the future Flash in BvS.

The people who saw the suit in the set of JL said the suid had the circle. Now I don't know if it's just a circle or the white circle.

I love that time travel/apocalyptic armor it is awesome hope we get to see something like it out of the knightmare world and in other movies.

I hope that's his "Delorean". He has and endoskeleton suit for regular superheroics. And he has an exoskeleton armor for breaking the temporal barrier.

The head piece looks good. The rest looks like a train wreck. How did the same director that gave us the costumes in BVS and The Watchmen greenlight this costume? Why the hell are there wires? Why is it segmented?

This is as bad as Captain America, Spider-Man, and Hawkeye in Disney's movies.

He'll get a better costume at the end of the movie. Stop overreacting.

Prototype or not, this

is

awesome.

Yeah, the set visit did say that Barry has a prototype suit that he made himself and he will get a new suit later on from Bruce Wayne that is supposed to be more streamlined with smaller gaps between the armor plates.
