The denial is strong.

First Joe investigated Wells and now Iris. Wells secrets will be revealed.

I am pretty sure that it has not so much to do with denial as with people just not caring enough to invest much time into speculating. It is a show that has a lot of fans but you have to differentiate between people who watch it once a week because it is like any other entertaining show to them and then people who geek out over every single easter-egg in the episodes.

It is generally interesting (and annoyingly childish) how the people here, who have been insisting on the prediction that RF being Wells (which has turned out right, as seen in this ep) are rather haughty and condescending to people who seem surprsied or are still not totally convinced.

You made a good guess, that is all, nothing you have to be too proud of, you didn't archieve anything by this (other than you can now point at others who haven't agreed with you and "Na na na na nah, I told you so"). Some have seen it coming, other didn't. People who haven't aren't idiots for not doing so, I am pretty sure it was the intent of the show-makers to keep it a secret.

And, of course, you can argue that it was so damn obvious from the beginning but still, not everybody takes everything on face value.

A forum like this should, and most likely was intended to, be a place where you can discuss your ideas without being riddiculed for them.

Relax.

I think your reading way too much into my post.

I'm not having a go at anyone who had different theories. Nothing to get over worked up about.

So. That ending seals it for me.

Wells is the future Barry.

I have to say, I am really loving this show. Can't tell you how many times this past episode I had a huge smile on my face. So many cool moments in this one, especially the ending and pretty much everything regarding Firestorm. The writing has been amazing so far.

Anyone else think they missed a golden opportunity to reference the Amell cousins when Iris tells Ronnie he looks familiar. He could've responded with something like "I've been told I look like Oliver Queen."

this damn show keeps getting better and better

I'm trying to fathom how they can maintain these vfx for each episode on a tv budget. And a 4th-5th place network at that. There are cable shows that haven't had CG that good.

Its funny how the lady who now owns Barry's old house is nowhere to be seen after last week, and Barry and Joe are going in and out of there like they own the place.

Probably because Joe is now seeing the lady. Ok, maybe not. But if I were in that position, I would've seen where things went.

Seeing in the biblical sense of course. He ain't dating her. She wanted dat ass. :o

I would imagine that Joe told the lady that the house was being used in a criminal investigate so she would need to move out for a bit.

"The impossible is possible for us every Tuesday."
4th wall breaking.

"Second chances." Flashpoint on the way?
I hope not.
So Eiling knows Barry's the Flash.
How did he know his name?
Or his face? He saw Barry's back when he unmasked.

I assume DC and Warner Brothers have something to do with it. They probably said at the beginning, "look this show could be the best comic book show ever but if we have dont have solid visual effects it will never be"

Absolutely loved the episode, great stuff. My only qualm is that Stein didn't remember that Wells poisoned him and gave him to the General. Seems like he would have remembered drinking from the glass and passing out yet he doesn't mention it. But totally solid episode for me none the less. 10/10

I wanted them to yell "Firestorm!" when they held hands.

One of the best episodes of the season. Easy 10/10 for me, and I don't usually give episodes a perfect rating even if I love them.

This one had so much win, I don't even know where to begin. Firestorm in all his glory (bar costume), Wells in costume at last and working with Grodd and most exciting: Time travel is imminent.

I can't fathom at this point, how amazing the season finale is going to be. It'll be something insanely special for sure.

Anyone else get the impression that this episode was really 2 edited into 1? They covered a lot of stuff here but didn't seem to give it all that much room to breathe. I mean just take a look at how fast that mushroom cloud disappeared right at the beginning of the show. It's like this is the hurry up and get to the next thing program. Kinda disappointing really given how much I liked last episode's build up. Still plenty of good stuff here though so...

7/10

I didn't expect Clancy Brown's character to be done away with so quickly. And he sure can give Batman lessons in being ridiculously prepared in this episode. How many doodads does he have anyway? :hehe:

The interrogation scene made me think of Metal Gear Solid.
Revolver interrogating Snake.
The grenade seemed like a porcupine man reference. #25-28 I think.
Good catch.

Jeez Aziz. Stop nitpicking. :o
Picking my nits is a habit of mine.

Good points.

I was wondering the exact same thing. "Supernatural" has to show all their monsters in human form or they're just invisible but "The Flash" is out here.

7/10. Not awful, not great. I wish I knew why this show doesn't do it for me.

Also another 4th wall moment was when Cisco mentioned how they have a man in the basement that can turn into poisonous gas and he said that, that was week 3. The Flash fought the Mist on episode 3.

Good catch.

The main character usually gets electrocuted during an interrogation in each game.

Everything is connected! Everything!!!! :wow:

That moment is funny.
I love it. :D

I caught that too, and thought it was pretty funny. :woot:
