Oh man, that first look was glorious. The effects were great and (assuming it represent the show) the tone seems right. Can't wait for this.

It looks like they spent a bundle for the pilot going by the full trailer. Hopefully they can achieve the same quality for the regular series.

Idk, but they better suggest white and make it right - quick, fast, and in a hurry!

YES!!! Does he say that in it?? THAT is the perfect way to begin his series in every episode!!! That's perfect if true, I've always said they should do that! That's been a staple of The Flash books since the silver age!!! Best thing I've heard about the show if true!!! Yeeeaaaaahhh!!!!

That line could go on to be iconic, like it is in the comics. I just know it!

I thought it was Mark Waid who originated the whole statement of "My name is [Wally West]. I'm the fastest man alive" to emphasize the down to earthness and humanity of the Flash.

Am I wrong?

Looks great! The only negative aspect for me is the lack of the full score teased weeks ago.

Yes you are. It first appeared in Barry Allen stories in the 80s, however, Waid started to utilize it consistently in the 90s to introduce people to the title character right away in his books. He said he wanted to do that because there were so many books then where you would go several pages in until you knew who the main character was/what the book was about, and that the intro kept it short and sweet.

One small nit-pick, I don't get is why Weather Wizard is named Clyde instead of Mark. I know in the comics his brother's name was Clyde. At least the last name is the same.

Watched a second time ( the re-ran Upfront's)and it is 5 minutes or so in length. Now I'll have to wait to see it again when they release it for general consumption.

Wow. That was ****ing fantastic. I am excited. Very very impressive for the CW and a superhero TV show. Awesome.

Also, Weather Wizard is the bad guy! I'm excited!!

I know!!! And he was YELLOW by the looks of it man!!!! That made me so happy!!!

Also, there's definitely a good chance they will improve the costume as it goes along. I totally feel it now.
