I wonder if they'll show Thawne messing with Barry during his childhood, like in those scans someone posted. I knew he was messed up, but just not how much. Thawne has to be easily one of the most deranged villains in the comics.

I usually hate time travel, but for Thawne's story it's essential, it is an exception

I think he is more dangerous than joker or darkseid, too bad professor zoom is not very popular..

That really highlights my two issues with the suit which are the insignia and the belt, but it actually looks really good as an artist's rendition.

He is def deranged and I think kind of an underrated villain not just for flash but DC in general. He's really twisted and violent as hell.

He's one of the best villians in comics as a whole, definately a favorite of mine.

Yes.

I would imagine that they'll show Barry's like before the coma.

Then there is discovering the powers.

Then the testing & training.

Then investigating the weather villain.

Then the showdown.

In between all of that the flashbacks to childhood and a visit from Arrow.

And somehow have to show or explain why Barry was out of town just before the explosion - for viewers who haven't seen Arrow.

That seems like a lot even for 90 minutes.

Arrow's origin story took two seasons - as he said to Slade Wilson - he has only now become a hero. (I know the first five years are still being explained but Oliver is now truest Green Arrow.

I just don't like the big chunky buckle in the front, and I wish the bolts went all the way around. Nothing major and definitely not deal breakers, but the lack of a white background on the insignia really makes me wanna cry. Something so simple...

Sure, Affleck's suit looks fantastic, i enjoyed Winter Soldier and im looking forward to both X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy. Everything else looks bad to me. Every single thing about the CW doesn't interest me and that's not bias. I gave this trailer a chance and i didnt like it. The actor playing Flash sounds like he's reading to me, and that's not me trying to be an ass, i wanted to like him but i genuinely can't get past it.

Exactly. I love Thawne. I think he's one of the all time greatest characters.

I agree with you guys, he's definitely one of the greatest threats in DC, and one of the most entertaining villains at it

I guess people forget how the CW does things. They give the hero a somewhat OK first suit and tweak it as the seasons go along...Arrow just got a mask this season and I would bet that he gets a suit upgrade next season.

I am really excited for this show. The 5-minute trailer looks amazing and the freaks of the week look pretty cool. My only concern is I may be too excited. I had no real expectations for Arrow and was very surprised by how good it was. With my hopes raised to the ceiling for this show I worry that my expectations might be too high. Still...I can't wait to see it.

With you there bro ' , it looks awesome. Very excited about the Flash,
it looks like everything the Flash should be, lighter in tone than Arrow -without being silly, great special effects, and Barry is a likeable, decent guy.
All in all, it's going to be great.


As for Prof Zoom, yeah he's really underrated, because he doesn't just want to kill the flash, he wants to ruin his life and the lives of everyone around him.
He really is one of the most personal and psychotic of the DC villains.
Joker kills people, but doesn't mess with their lives to the degree that Zoom does.

Hopefully, it won't just be Thawne messing with Barry, but Barry will come out on top - just because he's a better man.
