An enjoyable episode. But, I wish it had more Grodd.
And the method for feeding the prisoners seems unlikely. Wouldn't the vast majority of them escape when they open the doors to deliver their meals? Or is The Flash always there at feeding time to make sure they don't escape? And it still ignores the question of their other bodily functions and needs, not to mention whether indefinite imprisonment in a very small cell in the dark with is a suitable punishment for all of the metas.
They would show more Grodd if they had a bigger budget, but this is the CW (a small network), so they do what they can.
On how they get feed, maybe each cell has a type of drawer or something that is open from the outside to put the food in it. How do they shower then? Maybe a small shower cabin hidden in the wall or something, Star Labs has cutting edge technology, so it could be possible.
Having Barry lurve after her for his entire life does not make his feelings for her less creepy. It makes it more creepy. It's even weirder that she never had a clue about it until Barry confessed it. And she didn't know she had feelings for him until he confessed to her?
We're talking nearly twenty years of pining that went unnoticed by the female lead. And no one finds that a little disturbing besides me?
You're right, is not great writing at all, but it will get better now that the secrets are over, Iris will be more likeable I guess, but we'll see.
I don't get how Grodd was able to match Flash's speed either. How was he able to stop Flash's super punch when the guy is going light speed? Does he have super speed as well. Seems like a stretch.
Yeah, it didn't make sense, what they should've done is Barry hitting Grodd, but he's not completely out, just dizzy thanks to his superior resistance.
*sigh* hate to say it because I love Stephen Amell and Arrow but I can't wait for this season to be over. This season sucks more than a hungry hooker with 5 mouths to feed. Just not feeling the Ras arc and hopefully they do better next year because Amell deserves better. You can really tell that the Arrow's people went to the Flash's show. It really shows.
Lets not forget Arrow has been flawed from the start, it was never as good as Daredevil for example. Sooner or later they were going to have a down year, that said, the main producers are still there: Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg & Marc Guggenheim. Berlanti and Kreisberg even co-wrote the Season 3 premiere, "The Calm" and the finale, "My Name Is Oliver Queen":

As many in the business, they're very hit or miss, Greg Berlanti & Marc Guggenheim also wrote the Green Lantern movie; Berlanti also created the show No Ordinary Family, which was cancelled after one season.
