I found the episode long and boring. I really liked the pilot but in the last two episodes, sometimes the plots and the dialogues felt so forced and they really need to do something about those villains. To paraphrase Inception, they really need to dream bigger. It's a shame because I think there's potential.
Also, I think I have a serious problem with Danielle Panabaker. There's something about her acting that I find really annoying and I find it difficult to take her character seriously or even care about her. I didn't buy her so called love story with Ronnie, like I didn't buy her being traumatized/sad about it. It just seems there.
And yeah, they need to stop with Eddie/Iris: nobody cares, it's not interesting. If they are really looking for things to do with Iris: just develop her journalism storyline, make her interact more and actually have a real relationship with her father and/or put her with Barry already. Because right now, her scenes are a waste of time.
