Yeah, from the looks of it, this Superman might not show up again until the ending of the third part, and probably no more than a cap-off of the event. As to what he was going to say to Kara, some are speculating that he may be about the ask Lois the question...

Hey I’m cool with that and we have two Superman’s in the 3rd part so I’m absolutely fine with the next episode focusing heavily on Batwoman with a cameo from the MOS (whichever version).

I did wonder that, would be a cool ending. Damn they need their own show.

Liked the episode overall, but I am not feeling Tulloch as Lois.

Her eyes distracted me during her scenes because there seemed to be "something off," then I felt bad because I read she has some kind of medical condition... she did fine but I also wasn't getting that Lois vibe. (yet)

The CGI on Amazo wasn't great, but it didn't bother me. I've already accepted a long time ago that this is what we're getting from CW shows. The effects are good enough for a tv show, and it's not like the CGI is ruining the illusion in those scenes.

Really fun episode, I only wish Superman had more of a leading role in that fight against Amazo... but the show is called "The Flash" after all so I get it

Does she? Didn't know that about Tulloch having a medical condition. I know she's pregnant and, I believe, was during the filming of the crossover, but didn't know about her having some sort of condition.

Yeah, physically I thought Tulloch might have had plastic surgery, not there there's anything wrong with it, nor did it distract me from enjoying their interactions. I thought her personality for Lois was right on though.

I just finished it wow, wow ****ing wow. I am blown away by what I’ve just watched.

- I wasn’t expecting the episode to open with that Flash Earth 90 scene again, but it’s so good I don’t care.
- The Monitor is ****ing cool. Great casting there.
- Oliver and Barry swapping places was absolutely hilarious.
- I loved Oliver laughing at Barry’s thumb.
- I’m so glad Oliver called Barry out on that **** with Iris and his inspirational speeches lol
- “Somebody Save Me” that part was my favourite of the whole episode.
- the chemistry between Clark and Lois wasn’t wonderful.
- speaking of Bitsie Tulloch was amazing as Lois Lane.
- Superman shirt rip on the farm! Epic! I also loved that he said “a friend” when Cisco asked who he was.
- I can’t believe we got to see Superman, Supergirl, Flash and Green Arrow team up against Amazo!

Questions and thoughts I’m left with?

- How does Superman factor into Part 2? It’s gotta next the black suited version if it is.
- What was Clark gonna tell Kara on the truck?
- I cannot wait to see Batwoman and what surprises they have for us in Gotham.

That was one of the highlights for me. I thought I heard a little Williams-esque music when we saw the "S" onscreen.

Tyler Hoechlin confirmed he is in all three parts, so I would agree that we get our first look at Dark Superman tonight.

As for Lois, I believe Bitsie Tulloch is only in The Flash and Supergirl portions. And if those behind-the-scenes photos are any indication, she'll play a HUGE role in the conclusion tomorrow night.

Well, that was fun. Annoyed that I can't watch part 2 live tonight.

That music was a variation on the Super Friends theme.

Yeah I just think his role will be Smallville tonight but I’m cool with it cause I think it’s great that Batwoman will get a huge focus tonight.

Yeah that’s right she’s in those two episodes only. Looks like she gets something good to do in the Supergirl episode too with that Hammer ;)

I didn’t notice anything off about her facial figures. I just thought she was over acting.

Just watched this. Hoping part 2 is better.

I have a question: so I saw bits of this episode and I wanted to ask about DC TV that I know Supergirl had and its a problem, but I didn't realize all of the shows have too: why are they cheesy? It just makes me cringe and turns me off.

I'm actually a bit glad we'll be going to Gotham City on the Arrow portion of the crossover, given the similarities and what Arrow borrows from the Batman world. And looks like Kate Kane indeed is on Earth-1. Good start to the crossover. I do wish there'd been maybe a throwaway line about how Nora isn't around, given what we learned about her last time.
I too was wondering where Nora was. I know she went back to the future at the end of the last episode, but she's a time traveller, and her Dad has just switched bodies, so where is she? Unless this Monitor villain has done something that prevents her time jumps?

Lois is only in the Supergirl portion now. "Our" Clark probably too. But I believe we should be meeting Black Suit Superman next episode.
Pretty sure we've seen photos of two Superman on the same set, so presumably [our] Superman will be shown again; likely on Supergirl tonight. I haven't (yet) watched episode 2.

They do say this crossover is leading into next years, so we might get a Crisis event. Otherwise I too am a little bummed that BW is not in E38. It would be nice to spread them out more across the universes. But I can see them doing that if she is intended as a replacement for Arrow and they want to keep her closer to the E1 heroes.
Alternatively, maybe they'll simply mix up the Earth's a little more? Instead of having Flash, Arrow, Legends and Batwoman on Earth-1 and Supergirl on Earth-38, then that other Flash from Earth-90, maybe they'll move (a) Flash to Earth-38, and possibly even split up Arrow and/or Batwoman, separating them from Earth-1.

The episode was good on a whole. I think it took too long to get to the crossover with Supergirl and Superman though. I felt the episode mostly picked up when we visited Smallville. Before that, it felt a little too much like a standard episode of the Flash. Even having Amell in there, it could easily have been a regular episode just with the plot that Barry and Oliver had swapped lives.

They could've skipped all of the bit where they were tossed into prison. Team Flash could've believed them sooner, or if not, then both Barry and Oliver could've just gone to Earth 38 sooner.

Also, since they showed the exact same tag of the Monitor and Flash-90 at the start of the episode, then they could've put the parts with Oliver waking up as Barry or Barry finding himself as Oliver as the cliffhangers of both Arrow and Flash instead. Then that would've cut down on what they had to cover in this episode and we could've gotten to Supergirl, Superman and Lois sooner.

Smallville has a warm light that we don't see anywhere on Flash or Arrow, so it's quite weird to see them both in that setting, especially Oliver.

I wish we had more scenes with Superman and Lois and with Supergirl spending time in Smallville.

This wasn't the Supergirl portion of the crossover. Just how much more time do you need on the Kent farm before actually getting back to the plot and important stuff?

I really like what they did with Amazo and the nods to Smallville especially using the actual music were a nice touch. I'm not sure how I feel about the actress from Grimm as Lois Lane yet but she seemed to play the role well enough. Seeing Grant Gustin get into the Green Arrow shtick was actually pretty fun. I thought it was funny how they actually addressed the meta human prison not having a visual toilet which I'm sure some fans have been vocal about online at some point. I'm super excited about Batwoman showing up!

You don't one off Amazo, I only watched the 1st ep but come on. Maybe it is because my only memory of the character is from the JL animated show but he better come back. In the cartoon they didn't beat it, Amazo got bored and left after gaining total power and realizing he was being used.

Well, that Amazo was extremely overpowered compared to the Amazo from the comics.

After seeing all three episode I think Part 1 was the best of the three for sure.

If rank them:

1) Part One
2) Part Three
3) Part Two

They should have included Cisco, Caitlin, and Ralph in the climax of the episode along with Superman, Supergirl, Flash, and Green Arrow to deal with Amazo as this would have been the closest thing to a Justice League team-up on TV.

Well in the Supergirl portion

she barely played and got the short straw. Barry and Oliver still had more to do than her. So saying this wasn't the Supergirl portion of the crossover is somewhat irrelevant now.

Is that why you're just now responding to this? Doesn't really answer my question of why we needed to spend more time on the Kent farm in the first part of the crossover setting everything up when more Clark and Lois wouldn't have added anything with everything else going on.

I loved the stuff with Lois and Clark! It's a little teaser for what a series staring them would be like.
