The most important thing Gary and the party need to do is educate people on how libertarianism actually works.
The thing everyone asks boils down to "If the government isn't going to keep the corporations in check, who will?"
YOU WILL!
The people are the real bosses of corporations. We are the ones who are supposed to say what gets made, when, and how. Not the other way around.
But people don't want to put the effort into doing that, so they tell government to do it. Well...fine. But that means you have to put in the effort to keep government honest, since the people are the real bosses of the government.
But the people don't want to put the effort into doing that either, and then they wonder why government seems to always be in bed with the corporations.
Gary and the party need to show people that you have to put in some elbow grease, and do some due diligence. If the people started actually using the power they have against corporations, you'd see the marketplace start changing pretty quickly. You'd also see the government start changing.
You'd even see the media start changing when they realized that people were demanding real journalism so they could make the informed decisions and avoid being abused.
