...and out comes the tinfoil hat.
So i must now be a conspiracy theorist, to feel that there MIGHT be some over-arching organization to all this??
First off, kids legally are not allowed to rent coaches/buses to mass transit lots of people.
2ndly they are not authorized (last i looked) to sign up for holding a protest rally.
3rd, to LEAVE campuses in the #s they are doing, the SCHOOL itself would have to be signing off on it ALONG with the parents..
TO ME THAT certainly shows mass organization..
PLUS who the hell is paying for all those coaches?
Of course, not all the survivors are for total bans. But, I think a good majority of them are against the current status quo, and are for bans on certain types.
But, lets see how the generation shapes up with a couple hundred more incidents.
BUT then we get into "Who gets to decide what sort of guns certain folk can own?"
Because he's an idiot.
So is that congressman i showed 3 links for, ALSO AN IDIOT, cause he also supports ccw armed teachers..
I cannot believe the GOP suggestion is to put more guns in schools. It's insane. I will never understand this GOP mindset that a scared teacher in an maximum stressful situation is going to become Dirty Harry and be able to take down a gunman. It's far more likely innocent people will be accidentally shot.
So your solution is to make YET MORE GUN Free zones, when the proof shows that most, if not a vast majority of these mass shootings have occured in gun free zones?
The GOP goes on and on about the 2nd amendment but that was written when a gun with the capabilities of an AR-15 would be a weapon of mass destruction that would wipe out what we had for an army back then. Its not something our founding fathers ever conceived of being possible.
So by that logic, since only ink and quill existed for 'free speech/the press', all websites, radio and TV news agencies shouldn't be covered then.
I am encouraged by the rally in Tallahassee. And the various walkouts I am seeing. We will see how the March for Our Lives goes.
If i was a parent, while i would be encouraged that my kid(s) were getting involved, all these mass walk outs make me wonder "SO When are they going to be required to make up all the lost time", and if the students miss enough time "Will they then protest to get the tests/final exams etc" moved BACK??
And they know they are losing members. There may be reason they want Russian money...
Got proof that the NRA is losing members?
