Yes, it should be enough. The first one did well on DVD sales. Plus the director and cast want to do 3, so they will find a way to do a third.

Well, I guess I was wrong about my orginal prediction. The domestic gross will probably end up at 75million. I predicted it would make over 100mil domestically but, that awful second weekend dropoff(-70.7%) killed this movies chances at getting close to that prediction.

Hopefully with good fans like us, who saw the movie and will buy it when it comes out on DVD, the franchise will make enough money and we will see a third ( long Puase ) eventually

I think there will be HB3 no probs in 4 years.
Ron dident do tons of the stunts in this one so that dont matter.
Also HB2 should do ok worldwide, and the it will be really gd on DVD. HB2 pretty much got going from DVD sales : P.
Also once Del Toro comes off the Hobbit,he'll be way more respected and famous than he is atm. And 4 years is teh perfect time, they studio wont go ahead without him because it wasnt a massive monster money maker.

That second weekend drop off has really killed it, i think it will end up with over $75 million, and you never know, with good legs, may make its budget back, but its doubtful. Its not looking good for the threequel .

Dont be silly there was no chance off Hellboy 2 after HB1 and what do you know we still got HB 2.It will make its budget back.It hasnt even been released full-worldwide yet.

It'll end up with around $15 million higher than its predecessor even with one of the worst release dates in history and will end up with far more total than it cost to make, not to mention Del Toro will have The Hobbit and a LOTR prequel under his belt by the time HBIII rolls around which means that his name will carry even more weight...it's looking fine for a part III.

it will be released in other countries later this month.

In Italy it was released some days after the USA and it's doing fine, considering that Italian people don't go the movies in summer. It's at the second spot after The Dark Knight.

^That is indeed good news, hope it gets to about $200 million WW, little bit optimistic maybe but you never know.

= Worldwide: $98,526,197

It will probably end with about $75M domestic. The first film made about $40M internationally, so hopeful this one can make $60. That would give a combined world wide gross of $135 mill.
