You mean the TMNR. Or I guess, the GotG.Swords? That's the TMNT![]()
You'll be dealing with the TMNR soon unless you deal with the problem soon. They are training hardcore and you need allies.Swords? That's the TMNT![]()
Threat Level: Midnight is the greatest hockey movie ever made
The president wanted to blow up the NHL All-Star Game for the insurance money.
It could happen.
Especially since the All-Star Game is usually held in an American city. Nashville had a good run though.
I am currently stuck on S2. I know, I know, I need to power through to get to the good stuff. I'll get there. The Sherlock Holmes one was alright. And "Measure of a Man," of course, but I had already seen that one. DK has recommended I take a break from it and watch Babylon 5, so I'll probably end up doing that soon. This show was NOT designed to be binged.Out of context ST:NG observation I just read:
"I love how Worf just shows up and murders members of the Klingon High Council from time to time."
He ain't wrong.
@flickchick85 You ever get around to TNG?

Hey, we live in the world of GoT and Steve Rogers romancing 2 generations of the Carter family in a Disney flick. I can take it.Just... Be prepared for that episode where Doctor Crusher has sex with a ghost who also used to bone her grandma.
Will keep all of that in mind.

Maybe it's just doing everything in reverse.
...I have no idea what Tenet is about.
It's different times for TV for sure.
Which can make converting people into fans hard for sure. Seasons one and two have so many issues and there's a real sense of a show finding it's footing (Which to be fair, at least the powers that be allowed that back in the day. Now they will put together an all star cast, headliner named showrunner, spend enourmous amounts of money on production and promotion... And then kill a show after a single lackluster but not totally failed season or maybe not even that. Maybe thay can a show after 3 episodes are aired.) with the cast and the writing team feeling out where they are going with the concept overall and the characters specifically.
But yeah... You gotta power through because the truth is that while those two first seasons are not all they could be, like EVERYTHING that comes after practically springs from characters or narrative concepts they introduce in those early years. The Borg, Lore, Q, Worf's family drama, Data's tutelage in humanity by Picard and on and on. All really important to the series as a whole.
But once you start 3 it will start to come into focus why the show is such a pillar of sci fi/fantasy TV.

The previous sentence was an accurate description of an actual episode.
...
They weren't all gems.
I strongly disagree with this. And yet the worst of TNG is still far better than the best of Discovery...![]()
I'm with you. While I'm sure when TNG gets good, it'll easily surpass Discovery, being in those early rocky seasons of TNG I'm still in, I'd take most of the Pike/Spock season of Disco over most of the TNG I've watched thus far any day.I strongly disagree with this.

You said “the worst” of TNG, though. You may change your mind come that third season...![]()
