Also, I understand sliding down those ice bridges, but how exactly did he go up that one...

Was naming Moon Knight's business man persona after this writer a joke between Moench, Sienkiewicz and Grant? Or something else?

What I really love about this cover is the attention to detail, specifically all the shocked pedestrians and people clamoring to the windows. That's something you really don't see in covers or interiors these days. If you saw a man made out of ice and a human spider swinging through the city, you would have your face pressed against the window too! Nowadays pencillers just don't pay enough attention to background detail like that.

As for the actual issue, I never read it, but I gotta agree with what someone else said; what exactly is Iceman's deal here?!

Well, Spidey was trying to talk some sense into Gwen in the issue, and Bobby thought he was trying to attack Gwen. If I remembrer correctly, Sam Bullit pretty much asks Ice Man to track down and kill Spider-Man. Overall, a really good issue, IMO.

Yes... there's some pretty "racy" language in these issues, as Sam Bullit makes a few racial referances to Robbie Robertson... nothing too shameful (in the same vain as the "n" word"), but obvious enough to the reader that he's a racist.... the remarks were pretty bad when you think about it...

Having said that, I doubt you'd ever see anything like that in a comic nowadays...

This is a lovable issue, I don't like Blob going on a rampage in the city just cause his friend died though

Another GREAT comic from a time when death meant something! I actually had this issue given to me by one of my wife's relatives. He had found a bunch of comics he owned. ASM 51-90, Cap 101-109, Early Avenegrs, X-Men, FF, and DD, and they sold them all for $100 dollars, after I had priced them for around $1000. I don't price comics for people anymore. :(

Aloha,
You didn't do a bad thing, it's really about what the market will bear at the time. If you go to Mile High Comics, you'll see prices that are some of the highest( before the discounts). If you go to ebay and look at the price range for the same comic in the same condition as others-the price range is staggering.
