Did any new suits get revealed today? Cause I tried asking for the link to help ... but didn't get an answer! Come on guys ( and girls? ) ... don't ignore this noob!

There aren't going to be any more suit reveals on Facebook, as far as I know. The ones revealed were part of a contest that ended yesterday. However, Kevin Feige said in an interview that all 42 suits will appear in the movie, so we can look forward to seeing more of them on screen.

How can the suit run out of power? Isn't it powered by the arc reactor, so if that goes, then wouldn't Tony also start dying?

Not sure... but I do remember in The Avengers, when Tony tried to use his wrist lasers on one of the Leviathans, Jarvis stopped him and said, "Sir, we will lose power before we penetrate that shell."

My guess is that although the suit itself would run out of power, the arc reactor would still have enough stored to keep Tony's heart going.

The Mk42 has to have some power of its own as well, seeing as it can propel itself toward Tony when not connected to the arc reactor.

I don't doubt that theory either.

I like to think of the arc reactor as a batter charger for the suits, it powers up but then it can expend so much before it needs a recharge

I'm pretty sure that each suit has its own arc reactor in it.

This was established in Iron Man 2 when Rhodey and the military took the mark 2 and it had an arc reactor in it.

So yeah. the arc reactor that powers the suit would be drained, but his personal arc reactor thats in his chest would be fine.

Well, in IM he had his newer design stolen out of his chest and had to resort to his original arc reactor...which means it was in his chest while using the MKIII in the final battle, not the suit.

Perhaps that situation made Tony go back and put ARs in all his suits in case someone rips it out of his chest again.

Marvel Studios and DMG announced that a Chinese version of IRON MAN 3 will be released in China on a date to be announced in the near future. DMG, a Chinese media and entertainment company, collaborated with Marvel Studios on the Chinese elements in the film, and is marketing and distributing the film in China. While Marvel and DMG have decided not to apply for co-production status in China, the film includes significant Chinese elements. Renowned Chinese actor Wang Xueqi will appear in both the studio’s Chinese version of the film and in its international and domestic US version. Both versions of the film include Iron Man 3 footage filmed in Beijing in December. The Chinese version of the film will also feature a special appearance of China’s top actress, Fan Bingbing, and will offer specially prepared bonus footage made exclusively for the Chinese audience. Marvel Studios’ experience working on this film with Fan Bingbing and Wang Xueqi and in shooting in China has been very positive and has created a springboard for future collaboration with China’s talented stars and its growing film and television industry. The IRON MAN cast and filmmakers look forward to bringing IRON MAN back to China.

Most likely. Same thing happened with Looper last year and the new footage was just small extended scenes in China.

I'd blame China. I can't think of another country that's so uber-sensitive on how it's portrayed in a movie that it would require something like this.
