I think Ant-Man will conclude Phase 2 and also jumpstart Phase 3 at the same time.

I have this feeling that Ant-man's story line is going to be going on throughout Phases 1 and 2 and the conclusion of his movie ( Ultron coming to life ) is going to jumpstart Phase 3 but end Phase 2

It's still a couple of years away yet, but I tend to agree with you here. If Ultron turns out to be the Big Bad for TA3, and Phase III weaves in and out of that storyline, then Hank Pym is going to be the catalyst there. Phase III would literally begin and end with a Pym storyline.

The Avengers 2 will conclude Phase 2... Just like The Avengers concluded phase 1. Feige's confirmed it.

not that I don't believe you, but can you link to an article or interview about that. Because to me, Ant-Man ending Phase 2 actually makes more sense the way I envision his movie playing out.

(His origin happened throughout Phase 1 and the main parts of his movie happening during Avengers 1 and ended at Avengers 2 where he's been recruited to SHIELD now and helps them out in Avengers 2 and then we also see Ultron that leads right into 3)

so basically his story has been going on all throughout the Marvel movie verse we just don't know it til his film.

It's all in the phase one video. Ant Man comes first and then Avengers wrapping it up.

Here's a pretty solid article with Feige using some pretty definitive language that Ant-Man starts Phase 3. He also in a way groups the core Avengers in Phase 2 (IM3, Thor:TDW, CA:TWS) together and clearly separates Ant-Man (and Doctor Strange) from that group.

Nothing major, but Audi launched an IM3 microsite sharing new promo images of Pepper, and the first of Eric Savin. It's already been assumed, but the site describes him: "The mysterious Savin is the[BLACKOUT] muscle behind Killian's Extremis group[/BLACKOUT]."

Here's Feige's quote:

“‘Ant-Man’ is definitely part of Phase Three. Like ‘Iron Man 3,’ it’s certainly set in the Marvel Universe, but it’s also through the lens of Edgar Wright — which is the only reason we’re making the movie…I’ve known Edgar since our first lunch together at Comic-Con in 2004. He asked me what Marvel was doing with ‘Ant-Man’ — we weren’t even a studio then; what a difference eight years makes! It’s very much an ‘Ant-Man’ origin movie from the perspective of Edgar Wright and his co-writer Joe Cornish. It will of course be firmly planted in the MCU, but a different corner than we’ve seen before.”

For anyone interested, I found a 4k trailer which is higher res than 1080p (in German) for IM3.

The FrancoGoblin **** is going to get old. It's a glorified ski mask and goggles, people have worn them for decades.

plus New Goblin will be the last thing on my mind because THAT MOVIE SUCKKEDDD....

Quite frankly I'm glad for this. It's just yet another way Marvel/Disney distances themselves from that crappy trilogy. Just like casting Chris Evans and disavowing all knowledge of Fantastic Four. And just like rebooting The Incredible Hulk and disavowing all knowledge of Ang Lee. GOOD RIDDANCE TO **** MARVEL FILMS!

If u look closely at WS, there's a black line running around the goggles, which actually makes it looks like his wearing a Domino mask, with goggles over it

Yeah but ccording to some recent spoiler-y rumor-y things...

Tony and the Mandarin aren't ever even on the screen at the same time and never meet. :(
That would suck if it's true.

If he is, I will be seriously disappointed.

Is it me or does Winter Soldier look a lot (too much?) like Harry in Spider-Man 3?

Just kidding. :oldrazz: I like it, but as someone else said I think the goggles should be more transparent (and with a blue tint rather than tan).

Thought Audi would at least add an ice cream colour to the car to tie it in!

Well this looks pretty good for a WS suit.

I haven't seen this screen grab from the video posted here yet. It looks like concept art of the final battle in IM3. Tony is in the middle with his armors all around him, apparently fighting the Extremis soldiers.

Wow That's most defiantly the real Hulk buster armor in the back ground. You can even see the dome helm geting blown off.

so...I'm going to a showing of 20 minutes of IM3 footage (guessing it would be THOSE 20 minutes they are showing around the world and IGN saw a while ago) next Tuesday! :D

There will also be a "1000 Iron Men" flashmob-type thing where everyone at the screening gets an IM mask, a picture gets taken with everyone in these masks, and then sent to Marvel! And apparently there is a "surprise from MARVEL"...

Will do :) Strangely enough as opposed to in most countries where these presentations are press-only, in Russia they let websites organise competitions to give invites away...they did the same with the 40-min Star Trek Into Darkness preview back in March. Thankfully I'm in the right place at the right time this time... (only in Moscow for a week)

UPDATE: RDJ and Ben Kingsley are due to arrive in Moscow the next day (Wednesday) for a press conference - maybe they'll sneakily turn up the night before? ;)
