RDJ is Tony Stark. Everytime he plays a new character in a film, all I see and hear is Tony Stark. His personality makes IronMan. I totally agree.
Completey agreed RDJ is the definition of Tony Stark/Iron Man.RDJ is a perfect example of why the characters/actors are more important than costumes. As awesome as the Mk45 is, if RDJ wasnt in it, that couldnt make the movie great.
A great video in response to people (idiots) who say "Robert, why don't you just donate all the money" and upping the ante:I come bearing gifts… If we reach our $2m goal by midnight on Monday, all donors will find a NEVER BEFORE SEEN CLIP from Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron in their inboxes on Tuesday… ‪#‎givegivegive‬ ‪#‎hbd2me‬ DONATE HERE: http://bit.ly/HBD_RDJ
GAME CHANGER. If you donate $10 or more in the next 3 days to help us reach our $2m goal, you'll ALSO be entered for a chance to win my own personal Mark 42. ‪#‎nerdgasm‬ Enter here: http://bit.ly/WinMark4

Entire speech:Leave it to Downey Jr. to show up the rookies. If we're to imagine RDJ's internal stage directions, it would sound like: Convey a sense humility that is both effortless and genuine, with just the right amount of derision. Like when the 50-year-old Iron Man star joked, in reference to the show's set design, that he's been waiting 10 years to "emerge from a massive, trippy cat head to receive the recognition I've so desired." As his Avengers costars Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth kneeled before him, Downey Jr. admitted that in the 34 years since MTV's birth, he has "squandered, resisted, surrendered, repented, [and] labored." No doubt some people in the audience (and elsewhere) will want to look to this speech in a few years to see how comebacks are done. "Keep your nose clean," he added, without pausing for the laughs.
Video link to presentation and speechWhen I witnessed the first MTV Movie Awards in 1992, I said, Wow thats my generations version of the Oscars. But when the first generation award was given in 2005 I thought, simply, wheres mine. And Ive spent ten long years waiting to emerge from a massive trippy cat head and receive the recognition Ive so desired, so thank you for that.
In the 34 years that have passed since the birth of MTV, Ive grown up, Ive struggled, Ive failed, Ive succeeded, Ive partied way too much. Therefore, Ive squandered resistance, surrendered, repented, labored, begged for second chances and literally clawed my way to the top. Ive tried to live honorably and never forget my love of the game or my friends.
So if a man is judged by the company he keeps then I must be doing something right, because look who Im rolling with. On behalf of my fellow Avengers, I invite you to dream big, work hard, keep your nose clean, be of service and yes because you can define your generation.
