Yea......Anthony Starr is great as Homelander, but it'd feel a bit typecasting to have him be another crazy comic book villain.
Er... Aquaman?, at the bare minimum someone who hasn't been in anything comic book related in a while ala Dafoe.
Er... Aquaman?

They totally wasted him there.Oh come on.![]()
He wasn't exactly memorable though. All he did was play Aquaman's mentor. No not really.

If we played by these rules all the time we would be missing out on great performances.Sure, but it's still Anthony Starr, with his face and voice. All I'd see would be Homelander doing his best Joker impression. I'd just rather we get someone who hasn't really been in anything comic book related, at the bare minimum someone who hasn't been in anything comic book related in a while ala Dafoe.
How? It's a basic enough look; although maybe the blazer might be a bit more casual, like tweed or something.I guarantee he doesn't look like how you want him to look.
I don't really think his suits are gonna be flashy or super vibrant anymore. He'll obviously be well dressed but probably not as stylized as Nicholson or Leto for instance. It’s too plain for me.
Zero chance that he doesn’t show up. It’s the Joker. There were reports that he’s actually in this movie, and that it’s a stand-in cameo. Even if that’s false, he’s 110 percent in this trilogy. We might not even get him in this iteration. Probably will, but maybe not.
I think you can get away with a Nicholson wardrobe in this version as a nice contrast to Pattinson’s brooding. You just have to make him more spooky and cut down the amount of gags/props.I don't really think his suits are gonna be flashy or super vibrant anymore. If they DO go that route, I feel like they'd, again, tone it down a bit and limit it to ties and bowties with polka dots and stuff like that. More or less how Kane's Joker dressed, so I wouldn't really mind something like that. This but with notched lapels, matching pants, a flower on the lapel, and gloves would be ideal for this aesthetic IMO:
