The Ratcatcher, the Mad Hatter, Solomon Grundy, Harley Quinn. Maaaaybe Poison Ivy.

They pretty much gothed up the Riddler in The Batman cartoon series, and it was ****ing awful imo.

I had those exact same characters in mind except for Grundy. That would actually be interesting. I could see Zsasz as an emo though lol.

As weird as it sounds to say it, I kinda feel like Joker COULD fit into that list as well, with the pale face and the black eye makeup.

I DID recently realize how much he looks more like a mime, yet acts more like an actual circus clown.

There was a leader of the Jokerz gang in Batman Beyond who looked pretty gothy:

His name was Terminal, iirc.

It just hit me that it’s the material of the suit that makes a difference to me. I’d like more of a corduroy suit than something silky. Something reminiscent of a 70’s serial killer. Pair that with the pattern shirt, bow tie and messy hair and that’s what I want.

Actually his gaudiness could be an interesting contrast with an aesthetically subdued world around him and accentuate his otherworldly feel. Like he doesn’t belong in the world he inhabits.

Actually his gaudiness could be an interesting contrast with an aesthetically subdued world around him and accentuate his otherworldly feel. Like he doesn’t belong in the world he inhabits.

I think this suit looks ESPECIALLY great when you pair it with the fedora and sunglasses gear option. I agree that the gaudiness could provide a nice contrast and, as you put it perfectly, make him seem otherworldly, like he doesn't belong in that universe. I'm just not sure that they'd really want to do something like that, which is why I'm mainly just hoping for bright 80s-esque suits if anything.
