It may have also been one of his BOF Mailbags. He's commented on Barry more than once.

Also, as a minor aside, the argument from earlier that the compression of a long telephoto lens would make Barry's face appear so different that it's so heavily up for debate whether that's him or not is kind of self-defeating when you remember that Rob, Zoe, John Turturro and Colin Ferrell as Penguin were all also on set that day and in copious other photos also shot with extremely long focal lengths and all were easily identifiable as themselves.

Yes, focal lengths do go quite a ways in distorting or compressing the faces of their subjects, but it's generally pretty subtle IMO and not nearly so drastic as to explain why the guy we see in those set photo isn't a clear match for Barry.

What isn’t a clear match though? He has the ears, he has the freckles, he has the nose. Look at recent pictures of Barry and compare them, not ones from 2015.

I think he’s Joker. I just hope they give him some lifts. I prefer tall lanky Joker.

Dude, it's Barry. The set photos show the exact same freckle pattern around his jaw, hairline, and ear. I made a comparison circling them all to make it easy for everyone.

It doesn’t look like him to me at all. Completely different people.

It's okay. At least, you are seeing the light and willing to re-consider your opinion... Unlike some others.

From a psychological standpoint, it’s wild that the evidence you are presenting is so differently perceived by me. I genuinely don’t see the resemblance. A freckle in common isn’t enough. I don’t think it’s the same person. It’s strange that we are perceiving these images so differently, but honestly it’s interesting.

From far away, I could see where it might look like Barry. But that up close pic of him looking down? looks nothing like him at all. There's no way that's Barry, if you ask me.

FWIW he could look that way in the sequels to an extent if it's him. He's been working out and honestly looks slimmer because of it

What kind of prosthetics? A fake chin, maybe? He has such a distinctive face, I'm not sure what more could be done to it.

And that top left, as blurry as it is, looks nothing like him. People pointing out moles that aren't even there.

It's not a single freckle. It is 4 of them. Unfortunately, either the Hype or Paint reduced the size/resolution of the photos I am citing, but if you blow them up to 250%, there are 4 identical freckles: 1 at the temple, 1 at the side burn, 1 on the cheek, and 1 at the corner of the jaw.

Given the generally poor quality and off angles of the set photos, it is very likely that lens distortion and off-angles are distorting facial features or our perception of them at least a little, which is why I am pointing to the freckle pattern as the best evidence we have.

You can't use those photos to compare height. That seen was shot on the steep steps in front of the building, which means that is messing with any height comparison:

There is also perspective issues in play. In the top left image, Pattinson looks much larger than the person in question because he is closer to the camera. The reverse effect is in play in the top right shot. It's part of how they made Jonathan Rhys-Davies, one of the tallest actors in LOTR, look like a dwarf.

Ok and now I’m looking at the set photos again and I’m suddenly thinking it might be him. Wtf is this? It’s so hard to tell, some photos look nothing like him and others do..

I really think people are basing this off what Barry looked liked 5 years ago. Look at how he looks at the Eternals premiere! He looks very different!!!
