The nose is different. And he wasn’t cast as a valet. Yeah, Barry was brought to England during a pandemic to have a scene where he parks Bruce Wayne’s car. And Barry is super proud of his role. Lol come on guys, use your brains. This man held his own with Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman and stole scenes right from underneath them. He's also the main villain in a huge Marvel Eternals movie and he's just gonna park cars like a good ol chap for a scene or two? And then they'll cut him and take him out of the credits lmao. Honestly, completely absent of any rumors, I don't see why anyone should be saying "He's just a cop, 100%, end of story" as if they know that for a fact. This would not be the first (nor the last) time a production has been intentionally misleading about a secret role for a character in a blockbuster.

Barry Keoghan can be genuinely scary onscreen. He could be the most terrifying Joker if they let him run wild with this. Those eyes are scary as hell.

Is it inconceivable that he could "just" be a cop? Matthew Modine was "just" a cop in the Dark Knight Rises. Colin Farrell apparently doesn't have a ton of screen time. Could it be that despite his good work, Keoghan just didn't fit in the movie? Like Shailene Woodley being cut from Amazing Spider-Man 2?

They have the exact same freckle on the right jaw line directly below the ear. If you maximize the images, you can see it in both the shot with Farrell and on the alleged "mystery man" at the Funeral set with Battinson.

I'm sorry, but I'm still not convinced. There's other areas of the face that just don't line up for me. And I find it telling that we never once got a clear photo of the guy when we had so many other clear photos of everyone else among the primary cast from that shoot.

Especially since feedback from the test screenings indicate that Barry seemed to be cut. There was "at most a scene with a cop that might have been him" seems to point towards that not being Keoghan IMO.

Obviously though, your mileage may vary.

Also, maybe it's just me, but I'm pretty sure we've all had this exact argument about the man's nose, face structure and freckle before when those photos first popped up?

If he was indeed cut from the movie, doesn't that lend itself more to him just being a cop than secretly The Joker?

As for why he would be be playing "just a cop", I think in his case it's particularly likely. Guy is a true blue geek, playing Spider-Man in a fan film, asking Stan Lee to make him a superhero on twitter. Seems like the guy who would ask his agent if there was a role for him in the movie and they'd be like "Well, there's this cop role you can play" and he would be like "Awesome, as long as I'm in a Batman movie".

People are basing what they think Barry looks like off things he filmed like five years ago. He looks very different from how he did in Sacred Deer or Dunkirk.

Then you need your eyes checked. You need to stop focusing on features that are partly obscured or that could be distorted by the camera lens and focus instead on what is directly in focus.

Look at the ear, the shape, features and lobe are identical to the shot of Barry posted with Farrell on the last page.
