Or like Rob Liefeld saying Ryan Reynolds would play both Deadpool and Green Lantern at the same time. I mean he did end up playing Deadpool, but Green Lantern had to crash and burn first.

Well if Jared Leto is truly gone, then are they going to try to have Joaquin be the DCEU Joker then? It would seem stupid to recast Leto in the DCEU and still go ahead with the Joaquin Phoenix thing.

They could have JP as the sole Joker in the prequels, and Bat spin offs/JL movies.

Or have JP as a one off, and hire another actor to play in Reeves' movies, who also takes on bat spin offs

Or have JP as Reeves' Joker, and another actor in the spin offs

Like, the first option will be the simplest and the best, maybe just have JP for his origin, 1 Reeves' film, and 1 support for Legion of Doom or something, and have the Joker off-limit to the spin offs

Josh Brolin is both Thanos and Cable. So I don't see why Leto can't be The Joker and Morbius.

It helps when his Joker is not popular. Like Chris Evans was Johnny Storm in those lame F4 movies before he became Cap.

I’d like to see Domhnall Gleason, Riz Ahmed, or Jake Gyllenhaal take over from Leto.

Though I wouldn’t be completely against him returning either. I still think he has potential.

Difficult to picture Domhnall or Riz as the Joker, IMO. Jake is easy to see though.

Though I wouldn’t be completely against him returning either. I still think he has potential.

Gleason is my top choice for Reverse Flash.
I’m not sure how I’d feel about him playing joker.

If the rumors are true about the solo being a prequel and there’s plans to use joker at all, he will definitely need to be recast.
I’ve recently become obsessed with the idea of Caleb Landry Jones as Joker.

He’s naturally so ****ing weird and creepy.
He’s a great actor.
He’d be perfect.

And yeah I am all aboard the Landry Jones train. The guy is like a perfect cocktail of Willem Dafoe, Brad Dourif, and Heath Ledger.

CLJ is a really good choice for Joker. Heck, if WB don't want to recast the Joker because dumb decisions is their thing, I could see him as an other villian: Scarecrow, The Riddler etc...

Something I’ve always wanted to see on film is a bit more effeminate Joker. Not knocking Jones at all, but I think he could pull off a more effeminate Joker like in TDKR. ASHOSE even played up that element a little bit too.
