I've actually thought of him for the role, just never brought him up because I thought he was too old (He's 50).

He has an old character actor quality to him, and I could see him being a down on his luck, hack comedian. And he certainly wouldn't be another handsome Joker.

Based on the clips I've seen of him on Preacher, he's got the crazed yet humorous aspect down. Maybe juuuuust a bit more manic than I like my Joker to be though. I also kinda think he would've been more appropriate for the DCEU
