By and large, I've liked this mini series a lot. I didnt care for the art in Joker's story but I loved the point he was making. Who is the real bad guy?

Penguin's story was the best.

I loved the art and how meticulously he took the chef's life apart. He had his revenge without breaking a single law.

Brilliant little bastard.

Yes, Ivy's story was cliche, but I liked that she "won." She killed the people that set out to kill and Batman was too late to stop her. It's good to see the bad guy win for once. I actually wondered if she could hear the plants talking to her or if she is just a schizo.

Sadly, Scarecrow's story was the weakest. I suppose it was a little creepy that he based this experiment on torturing helpless teens, but it still seemed cliche. I doubt he really gave a rat's pitootie about his patient's feelings of social anxiety.

Not too interested in the Two Face story. I'm getting Two Face: Year One instead. Part One was fantastic. One of the better comics I've read.

I loved the issue. It was great reading David Hine, my fav writer, tackle on my favorite character! Heh, I got pretty worried for a while too that maybe he'd mess up but it came out great. And I got tails at the end.

Personally I think this series was good but should've been darker since it was being told by the joker. It was enjoyable though, but I'd have to say my favorite was the penguin's story.

Okay I exaggurated a little but still I think it's was great especially for The Joker's Asylum.

me too. some of the issues have been pretty crap but i don't see why they shouldn't keep going until they've done all the main villains.

nah you are pretty wrong I thought the same thing when I picked it up.

Anyway I was hoping that they would just do small shorts about all these villains for a while or even do all the major villains like a good freeze story or ventriloquist.

I brought the Two-Face issue today. Whilst I'm not a fan of the white hair look I thought that it was drawn pretty well and the story was a prime example of what Dent should do as his crimes.
Namely actions that reflect some grievance he has with the world, trying to make others as unhappy as himself. Even though he never planned to kill the two hostages he simply wanted to proove that what was on the surface did matter to the Firefighter. Otherwise, why would he be willing to murder someone to save his wife from disfigurement?
A very clever story, moral virtue pitted against superficial interests.
Just a shame it's over. But I hope that this and The Dark Knight bring about a surge in good Two-Face stories.

All of them are out now. The series finished this week. You have Joker and Penguin? Then you still have to get Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, and Two Face.
