Here you can discuss Joss Whedon's involvement in Justice League and the DCEU as a whole.
Well if it's true he's been working with Snyder for months doing on set rewrites then that already makes good reason this thread. It's in addition that he's doing reshoots so it would seem he's been heavily involved with the film.
What does "on-set rewrites" even mean? They were not on set until now. And how do you know that he's working with Snyder for months? Do you mean editing the movie with Snyder? He wrote the reshoots and that's it. Now he's shooting them.

Realistically speaking Whedon most likely will add character building scenes, and improve the team interactions.
I do hope Whedon does more than that
Wldnt mind him brightenung up the Color palette.Tired of Zak Snyders permanent nighttime look
Noticed that as wellCome to think of it, with the exception of the Prologue scene that explains the whole deal behind the mother boxes, there weren't any action scenes in the trailer (or that we've heard of) that takes place during the day.
It's Zack's movie. He did all the heavy lifting, mostly leg day. Joss will leave his fingerprints and finish it off with bi's and tri's that brings definition to the film. It will be Zack's vision and tone with Whedon's flare and character moments. It's not hard peeps. I'm uber excited for JL.
So much happens practically everywhere on a film and the major pieces were already in place. I think people are exaggerating on both sides of the equation. In reality, it's going to be Zack's film but Whedon is going to have leeway in some area's but they won't override what Zack has done. For MoS and BvS, peoples main gripe was pacing so I bet if Joss does have full control in the editing room then pacing will be key with levity mixed in, something fans have been pointing out since MoS. Zack's visuals, ideas and epic action mixed in with Whedon's flare and timing is a good recipe. In the end, the "My weiner is bigger than your weiner" unneeded Zack/Joss debate is white noise. I just want the best movie JL can be. Zack will be a huge part of that. So will Joss. It will be a collective effort.
If Zack and Joss have been collaborating then I'm sure they talked it out like the professionals they are in what WILL stick and what WON'T stick. Knowing Zack's personality, I think he'd give Joss leeway into some decisions but he's still a big part in the DCEU "sandbox" and I'm sure he would have made it clear on what is to stay. Afterall, this is all tied in to other films as well. On the flipside, I'm sure Joss is professional enough to not step on too many toes and only do what's asked from him. If he feels something needs a bigger punch then the studio should listen and give him reign. He's done this before but I think Whedon knows this isn't Marvel. There needs to be a certain tone and direction and good directors adjust to certain things, especially if they're taking over for somebody after tragedy.
