That's not happening.

I wasn't saying it was happening. Just saying I would take Gosling as Batman ahead of Armie...easily.

However, I do know that certain WB's execs have or will pursue Gosling to be a superhero in the DC Universe of films or a villain like Lex Luthor.

I have heard in the past that they would like Gosling as the next Batman in the new rebooted films or even in a JL film. Whether or not Gosling is still in the radar when the time comes and if Gosling even considers it, is a whole different issue.

If John Stewart is the GL in the JL script, than I would love to see Will Smith be cast as Stewart.

I actually think Smith would consider it also, since he doesn't mind playing heroes and certainly is not against being in big time blockbuster films either.

I'm hoping Jonn Jonn'z/Martian Manhunter is indeed in this JL script draft. Would be fantastic to see finally see Jonn'z onscreen.

And Will Smith as Green Lantern actually isn't a bad idea, itd just be so damn expensive and his name would overshadow everyone else's.

Will Smith is too entertaining to be Jon Stewart. Jon Stewart is lame and I would much rather have Hal Jordan. If I couldnt have Hal, I would take Kyle Rayner. If I absolutely had to settle for Jon Stewart, Idris Elba is the best choice.

I could see James Franco as a Wally West, but not a Barry Allen. And Even though I like Wally more than I like Barry, Barry should be the one on the team.

Michael Fassbender would be the greatest Batman ever, but it will never happen. I feel like suggesting him is just unrealistic.

Elba would a nice choice for Stewart if WB's wants a lesser name.

Smith would bring even more butts to the seats though.

Idris Elba is already Heimdall though in Thor. I fancast Michael Fassbender as Batman tho and hes Magneto...

But if this movies is to not have actors that have been superheroes before I think Jamie Foxx (hell be hot off of his new movie Django Unchained with Quentin Tarantino) is a good choice for John Stewart, I like the idea of him being a little bit older. Thats how it was the last time when Common was cast as GL he was older than the rest of the team

I understand the idea of fancasting but i think it should still be in the realm of probability. I dont know, I guess it isn't fun to me to look at a cast that will never happen. It is pretty much like saying "Christopher Reeve is my number 1 choice for Superman... I know its not gonna because time travel isn't possible and all, but hey. it's just a fancast."

Yes, they are both equally unlikely(Sarcasm, in case its not clear)... Obviously I am using an extreme example.

Of course it is "possible" for Michael Fassbender to be Batman. It is "possible" for Ryan Gosling to be the Flash. It is "possible" for Chris Pine to play Hal Jordan. It is "possible" for Christopher Nolan to direct, etc... Most things are "possible" if you think think about it. It is possible that the world will get hit by a meteor killing everyone. But is it likely? is it probable? Not really

Maybe I am alone here, but I just don't see the point is listing actors and fantasizing about a cast that will never happen. Sort of like how Chris Reeve will never come back as Superman. Why would I imagine something like that? Because its just a fancast?

dude, that's really not the same thing it's really not all that unlikely. not unless it is revealed that fasbender or any other comic book movie actor is barred from playing any other cbm character by those respective companies.

and while I'd hate the idea of magneto playing batman, i know fassbender would kill that ****.

I don't see an all-star cast happening for this film. I mean look at the avengers even aside from RDJ and maybe scarlett the other guys were not big stars before the movie just sort of "known" in most cases.
