If John Stewart is the GL in the JL script, than I would love to see Will Smith be cast as Stewart.

I actually think Smith would consider it also, since he doesn't mind playing heroes and certainly is not against being in big time blockbuster films either.

Please god, no. He's an ego monster who would take over the film with stupid one-liners and crying.

I actually like the guy as an actor but he only does this movie if he's the star. Ain't no JL movie having John Stewart as the male lead.

dude, that's really not the same thing it's really not all that unlikely. not unless it is revealed that fasbender or any other comic book movie actor is barred from playing any other cbm character by those respective companies.

and while I'd hate the idea of magneto playing batman, i know fassbender would kill that ****.

That just wouldn't work. It's not the same situation as RR as Deadpool and GL because they're 2 completely different types of roles. Jaimie Alexander is pretty much already playing WW for Marvel. That'd be like Marvel getting Tom Hardy to play Crossbones in Cap 2.

Honestly, I don't care how experienced of an actor she is, I want Gina Carano for WW.

I SERIOUSLY doubt Will Smith would turn down playing Green Lantern just because he can't be the star, any actor who turns down a role in JL after the success of The Avengers must be someone who doesn't want to do big films.

It's a shame this isn't 5-6 years ago...cause I'd be all for seeing Ray Stevenson as a grizzled, veteran Batman commanding the Justice League's respect as it's only truly human member...

He could have owned that.

If Justice League were a one-off, I'd still be in favor. But I realize they are going to want to have sequels and a separate Batman franchise as well....I just hope they don't go too young... Perhaps a mid-30's guy like Collin Ferrell.

Sadly, Ray Stevenson is already 48.

I saw a bootlegged copy without finished special effects or scoring. That movie was the very definition of "forgettable," so can you really blame me for not recognizing her from that ?

She's not had a lot of leading films roles yet but she's classically trained at Julliard (where she won their two most prestigious drama awards) and she's done a fair amount of theater including Broadway. Plus she kicked ass in John Carter. I think she's perfect for it.

Interestingly, Justice League looks a lot younger as compared to Avengers, I mean in Avengers Nick Fury looks like he is in fifties, both Tony Stark and Dr. Bruce banner are in forties, Captain America, Black Widow, Maria Hill, Hawkeye and Thor looks like they are in mid thirties
