A few years ago he would have been one of my top choices. Too old now I'm afraid.

No one's with me for Ray Stevenson as an older, grizzled, veteran Batman?

He'd be absolutely perfect for that strong silent type that commands the respect of the room of superhumans. He's a huge presence.

He certainly has the look. He's got the size, has the chops. And if you look at that guy and he told you he fought crime for years of his life, you'd believe him.

He also has a voice that he wouldn't have to alter in anyway, or need any type of bodysuit to pull off the look of Batman.

I think he'd be perfect if they adapted Dark Knight Returns for live action.

No, the new Bruce needs to be in his twenties or thirties since Justice League will be a launching pad for the next Batman series. Ray Stevenson also won't be anywhere near as marketable as any good actor who happens to be younger and more handsome.

My idea for the next Batman trilogy would have TWO Batman's (BOTH Bruce Wayne).

Give me a years long mystery that takes place in the present that the older veteran Batman is trying to solve. Suddenly he realizes that many of the clues are in the past cases that he solved-- cue flashbacks to the younger, novice Batman as it's a race through Bruce's memories and his past to discover the truth of the mystery facing his city.

Have the villain of the trilogy be the Riddler with other rogues sprinkled in, in the different eras of the Knight, and cast two actors to play Bruce Wayne at the different points: Luke Evans (young) Ray Stevenson (old).

Shake things up. Don't redo Nolan. Nolan already nailed Nolan... Be original.

Not kidding! hahaa

My personal dream team. If Man of Steel is really the start of Justice League, then there's a good possibility that Nolan will be involved in 2015. If he's involved, then darn right Christian Bale will be back as Batman. I just love him so much.

I also think just 5 members would be better for the first movie.

Bring in Aquaman/cyborg for the next one

Everybody keeps saying it's not going to happen and yeah I guess it's unlikely but I'd be tickled ****less. I'd kill to see Bale's version suddenly having to deal with guys with real powers and interacting with Supes and co. Glorious.

Also I like the kid from Breaking Bad for Flash. At least until I think of something different or see a better suggestion.

bale has said that he'd come back only if nolan thought there was another story to tell, so we can have a little hope that he'd at least consider it. maybe nolan's blessing would be all that he needs. maybe not.

I've repeated myself before but, I'd prefer it if he returns because i wouldn't expect him to want to return to do another bats trilogy, which would mean WB would have to focus on wondy, flash and gl, if he'd only be available for jl films.

Who the hell would Jessie Eisenberg play?

EDIT: Oh, I see in your signature, nevermind. Odd choice though.

Would Luke be able to do a convincing American accent? His english accent is pretty strong I think.

Alexandra Daddario as Wonder Woman
Joseph Mazzello as The Flash
David Gallagher as Green Lantern
Rhys Wakefield as Aquaman

In 2015, they will be 29, 32, 30 and 27 respectively. Too young or too old?

We are way past that.

Cavill or nothing for me.

I'm going to throw in Charlie Hunnam for Batman. He's a fantastic actor, he has the height and the look, just add some black hair dye.
