Now THAT'S intimidating! I believe it. He's got the build plus there's a big influx if wrestlers in cbm's. Batista is drax. Why can't Dwayne be Wonder Woman.star power. I heard Andy dick was going to be aquaman. Inspired casting.

i think he looks more like wonder woman than any of the suggested "actresses." much better than gina carano. she's not nearly buff enough.

if I was going to get a wrestler to play Wonder Woman, I'd pick Eve Torres, has acting ability (apparently) obviously knows how to take a hit, is a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu

God no. Her acting is nothing special, it's only better than the rest of the divas the company has had over the years. Put her in a movie and you'll probably ask for Gina Carano lol.

shauner, while I fully understand and agree with what you are saying, I think what Joseph was going for was a hypothetical situation where we were to cast a wrestler in the role irrespective of acting skills!

I hope to God though that we never actually see such a day!

In that case Eve looks the part. She has an exotic look. But ur right haha. Let's hope not! Gina Carano is the equivalent of getting a wrestler who just started acting to play Batman or Superman (not even the rock since he's been around for 10 years now in movies).

yep exactly, if WB was looking at wrestlers as possible choices then Eve should be near the top of that list since she's the one that could probably pull it off, and she might not do as well as Gina Carano in the fighting department, but she is a better actress and wont need someone to dub her voice lol.

The person I still want to actually play Diana is Gemma Arterton

Peter Mensah, Djimon Hounsou, Lance Reddick.

Yeah, they probably are the front runners. Though I do think if it came to an audition face-off between the three, Mensah may be out of his depth. I mean, Djimon is a gorram Oscar nominee, twice over!

Mensah would only get this if Snyder had a huge hand in casting or directing. Djimon is great but there's something about Lance Reddick, his look can be so mysterious and almost robotic but he's also a good actor. He would also play the disguise so well. Better than the others I think.

If you watch his scenes in LOST. Anytime he appeared, that kind of approach would be amazing to MM. Not many scenes, a mysterious thing about him, almost creepy in that u don't know what kind of person he is or his motives.

Yeah. Notice I quite cleverly ignored mentioning Reddick.

His appearance and, to draw from what you mention, his behavior is closest to what I think the artists and writers of MM were going for.

It's just that I've always wanted Djimon to play MM and I still don't have enough reason to forsake that choice.

Another fan favorite is Giancarlo Esposito.

I think they cancelled the WW series knowing that WB wanted a JL movie and wanted to use Adrianne on the big screen not on TV.

Good lord, her "explanation" in the first link. She says the director wanted to make sure the character was different from Gina Carano the person? Lmao umm that just means that he thought ur a bad actress and couldn't become the character, only yourself, so he had ur voice dubbed.

Now I REALLY don't want her as Wonder Woman. I also said this past week that id give her and Haywire another chance, I got 10 minutes into it and I had to turn it off lol. That was the end of that.

I just listened to her and to be honest her voice is nice. It is mature, not deep, but has a strong womanly tone to it. At first I thought she was going to have an annoyingly high squeaky voice like the wrestler Chyna, but her voice is actually pleasant.

I wouldn't mind that voice for WW.
