Why is the JL Forum still here?

There is no script, no director, no actors, and no official confirmation this movie is even in active development.

This should be moved to the DC Comics Films forums.

If you go by the official sources (i.e. Variety and The Hollywood Reporter), Will Beal was supposed to write the script. Now granted, there have been other non non credible sources that have said that they heard form multiple source (of whom we really don't know nor can assure they are credible) that the script was scrapped, but that's not really official. What is true is that we do not know if there is a director yet but Henry Cavil is expected to be one of the actors in the film.

LOL, right? What other choice does Snyder really have? Man of Steel 2 if that's what they decide to pursue, but if not, JL is really the project that's right up his alley.

We are putting the cart before the horse here. Man of Steel will have to succeed before we see Snyder in the discussion for a Justice League film and even then it could possibly wind up being a sequel to Man of Steel in that case. If so it is my deepest hope that they spin off Justice League into its own franchise from

Del Toro may only produce Dark Universe guys. If JL is a long ways off, I can see Snyder producing and Del Toro directing it. After Zack does another Superman and god knows if another one will be made before Justice League happens, he'll probably want to take a break from it.

That shouldn't be too difficult. I'm an inch taller than him at 5'11 1/4 and I reach 6'0 with shoes on.

well, this is my opinion and its worth nothing but from the looks of it, i think it'll be the best cbm of 2013. i still think IM3 will make batman money since it's got the post avengers buzz going, but i still think mos will be the best cbm of the year.

Not to be one of those people, but I think it's pretty obvious that MOS will be the best of the year. I mean, Iron Man 3 looks better than the last one but it doesn't seem like anything special or new. Wolverine looks like it's gonna smoke Iron Man. Im actually looking forward to that movie and im glad they took the story to Japan, while focusing on Logan's more brutal side. But MOS has something extra special. Superman means more. Plus the cast, all the filmmakers attached, it's on another level.

Im betting that Snyder will look for a director for JL after MOS 2. I can see him being burnt out and wanting to be a producer like Nolan is for MOS.

But yeah, MoS, Pacific Rim and IM3 are definitely going to be the biggest movies of the year!
