Oh, I actually believe Lerman could bring more than one dimension to the character (with the right director).
But if you want Robin's frailty to be dominant, cast Kodi Smit-McPhee.

No i dont.... thats the point. I like that if Ellen played robin it would be a kid capable of strength. A boy actor wouldnt be able to show the frailty of a Robin. He would always protray robin as bad a$$. And i think thats the wrong call. Robin is a side kick, a tag along, a bit too much, and annoying.

That is exactly why you make Robin a badass... and also, he's not always portrayed that way. That would be the wrong direction to take the character in. Robin is way more capable than you make him seem.

I dont know. LOL. Ellen Page just has the spirit i think of when i think of Robin. I don thtink you get that out of a boy actor trying to be all bad a$$. And as far as why shes there..... just in case? I dunno really? Batman has to talk to someone he trusts. (also why he doesnt remove his mask)
:whatever:
No Robin on this team.

Its the JLA not the Superfriends.

I'm okay with Robin, if it's John Blake and they're bringing Batman back, as long as his role isn't too extensive.

I found this image over on deviantart (by poumap) and wanted to post it here and get some feedback...

The thought of an older, wiser more mature Batman in comparison to the rest of the Justice League is very interesting...and Josh Brolin in this pic looks amazing!!!

Then why would Batman allow Robin to be at his side?

and this would be our superman imagine brolin/hamm team up!!!

those two would've been good as bats and supes. i bet if they made that batman vs superman movie, these guys shouldve played them. they were supposed to be older in that movie.

Dark Knight Returns. Brolin and Hamm. After the animated version, Michael Emerson can play Joker. :yay:

I think Brolin would make a great DKR Superman actually.

thats an impressive manip :) Brolin could probably pull of a good Batman, but I highly doubt it will ever happen

I'm all for Brolin as Bruce Wayne in a Batman Beyond movie(if Michael Keaton isn't available.:o )

Brolin is actually at a very odd age. he may be 45 but he does look 50ish. So he is too old for "normal" Batman but is too young for The Dark Knight Returns orr Kingdom Come or even Batman Beyond.

Maybe if we ever have a Nightwing movie (we won't).

i dont think brolin looks older than his age at all he has a youthfulness to him

batman was 55 or so in dkr. not too far off. i for one wouldn't want to see dkr, since we kinda saw that story already in rises. ;)

nightwing would work so well as a show. arrow with it's flashbacks to the island, why not a nightwing show with flashbacks to his past as robin?

either way, that costume that brolin is wearing is pretty cool and i'd stand by it if they used something like that for justice league or even the eventual reboot.

If they ever do Dark Knight Returns I suspect Brolin is a shoe in. If he looks too young that's what makeup is for. The dude just fits what Miller wrote to a tee, it's eerie.

you know, they could do that next, Rises ends with Bruce going into retirement, Gordon finding out who he really is.....

Who's to say Bruce Wayne doesn't make a come back at some point and just say there was a mix up during the final attack between Bane's men and the police, movie can take place "15-20" years later and you get Brolin in as an older Wayne, his so called protege John Blake is dead since he didnt learn squat from Bruce about being Batman so he died early on, and the mutants show up and start terrorizing Gotham :p
