I've been reading that DCEU leaks thing again (I know, I know) and I came across one post that says the Amazons and Atlantians will lose against Darkseid's army. they call on the gods with prayer and Zeus, Posseidon and Ares wreck shop and defeat the Army 300 style. will be dissapointed if (when) it turns out to be fake.

I've been reading that DCEU leaks thing again (I know, I know) and I came across one post that says the Amazons and Atlantians will lose against Darkseid's army. they call on the gods with prayer and Zeus, Posseidon and Ares wreck shop and defeat the Army 300 style. will be dissapointed if (when) it turns out to be fake.

It probably is fake. Its been confirmed already that the Amazonian cast is coming back but nobody said that David Thewlis is back as well. Unless someone will ask him if he's in Justice League.

But if the Greek Gods are present for the opening scene maybe Michael McElhatton will be playing one of them.

right? the post said that Ares joins the gods in battle because even though he hates mankind he won't just let Earth be taken over. It does sound really gratifying. Usually Earth and mankind are portrayed as helpless and vulnerable in these kind of scenarios where alien invasions take place so it would be a really indulgent wish-fulfillment type thing to see that actually Earth has some major heavy-hitters and will wipe the floor with you

I forgot Zeus and Artemis were mentioned as part of the concept art for the movie. I hope McElhatton will be playing someone from Apokolips. Just so we can see some more new gods other than Steppenwolf.

I really do think he'll be Zeus. He looks a lot like Zeus from the paintings in WW. In fact, all he needs is a wig and he's basically the spitting image of him. granted, it's a drawing so facial features are a little ambiguous but just check it out. The likeness is there.
