Hmmm...interesting. I think it could be like in the New 52, there's a battle over many relics/weapons taken from the Dead King's tomb, including Aquaman's trident. Involving Aquaman, Orm (Ocean Master), Vulko, Black Manta etc.

I think Aquaman still has the trident even when Orm is ruler of Atlantis (in Throne of Atlantis storyline.)

It looks like we will be getting that Game of Thrones type of Aquaman movie with Atlantis, Xebel and the Trench etc. fighting for the crown, which could be really cool.
