Just watched the Bonus View mode.

It's hard to guage special features on the DVD vs Blue Ray - are the Blue Ray special features like the making of etc much much better than what's on the DVD release?

I don't know what's on the DVD release. D:

From what I understand, the DVD lacks the feature-length making-of documentary that the Blu-Ray has (aka the best part).

The blu-ray sort of has 2 making of documentaries. First there is the feature length documentary and then there is also the bonus view mode. The bonus view mode is feature length as well and is made up of the directors commentary and behind the scenes stuff.

Oh cool...

Anyone have any idea when the next issue of Kick Ass is being released?

oh... I bet people are gonna be buying that, this movie has established some kind of cult following of sorts.

The release date is still up in the air as far as I know, anywhere between the end of August to September.

Nice avatar VVS. Puts many to shame.

glad to see the Blu-ray is doing so well. I really could not care less about the Extended Cut or not. This version is a perfectly paced movie that has only a few minor flaws and is extremely entertaining. It comes with a Director's commentary (a must), plus a 2-hour making-of documentary. Not much else is needed, IMO....

But if the DVD/Blu-ray continues to sell this well through the rest of the year, then the likelihood of Kick-Ass 2 the movie is much higher. And while it doesn't really need a sequel, more Hit-Girl and Red Mist will be awesome. And while Millar is writing it either way, I much prefer Vaughn's take on the characters and story to Millar's, so I'm glad it is doing so well.

So I just found out that supposedly Red Mist is going to be called "The Motherfu**er" in Kick-Ass 2. Sounds like a hilarious jump; I love it.

I havent seen this yet. Though I kinda plan to eventually.

I gotta say, there's definitly something special about a movie when I can just wake up and pop it in. I watched for the second time this week this morning. And that's just this week. Perhaps I'm a bit obsessed? Then again the comic is something I can tear through anytime.

Oh I feel fine, after seeing it in theaters 7 times, I think it won't hurt if I watch it a lot now.

Oh yeah? I watched it on 2 tv's at the same time while listening to the soundtrack and posting in this thread!. Try to 1-up that one.

Does it count that a friend and I were watching it on a tv screen through an HDMI feed from his laptop screen?
