This thread ain't right![]()
Oh, I'm not gonna close you down. You're entitled to bash King of the Hill. I just like it is all. I mean, its not Simpsons-in-its-prime, but its entertaining enough to watch in the middle of the day on FX when nothing else is on.

Matt you've changed.First you become mod, then you vote Mccain, you watch KOH, next thing you know you will tell me you don't play video games.
This show along with The Simpsons and South park needs to stop. i dont get the appeal of them. Wuth the acception of the simpsons which i did like at one point and time. Alot of people say Family Guy is bad but i think the random flashbacks make it a better show albeit hit and miss at times.
I suspect this really is, as much as I hate to say it, a case of people not really getting the entire joke of the King of the Hill phenom.
It's almost a joke from writers to writers. It's SOOOO dry, SOOOOO over the top full of Texan stereotypes, SOOOOOO quietly monotonous, that I laugh just at the thought.
KOTH isn't a simpsons type humor with out threre, in-your face gags. It's more a satire/socoal commentary on Not Just Texans But America and American culture. The humor is more sly and clever, making fun of things we aren't rerally loooking at..
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!Fox Not Renewing King of the Hill
Source: The Hollywood Reporter October 31, 2008
After several previous brushes with cancellation, Fox has opted not to renew veteran animated comedy "King of the Hill" beyond its current 13th season.
In April, Fox picked up 13 more episodes from the 20th Century Fox TV-produced show, which are wrapping production.
A lot has changed since "King of the Hill" premiered in 1997. Its creators Greg Daniels and Mike Judge have moved on to other projects -- Daniels developed and is running NBC's "The Office," and Judge has a new animated series, "The Goode Family," launching on ABC in midseason.
Judge had continued to voice the central character on the series, alongside voiceover cast members Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Brittany Murphy, Tom Petty, Johnny Hardwick and Stephen Root.
"Hill" has been executive produced by Judge, Daniels, John Altschuler, Dave Krinsky, Michael Rotenberg, Howard Klein, Jim Dauterive and Garland Testa.
