Before Millar ruined the chance to make a great team out of the Defenders in the Ultimate Universe, I had ALOT of interest in the classic Defenders.

I thought the MCP story was to sort of test the waters for an ongoing without Oeming or Kolins. That didn't turn out that way.

I doubt anything'll come of the MCP story. The thing doesn't even really seem to be about Omega Flight so much as Guardian and the politics surrounding him.

It's got USAgent's side role and Arachne has been featured more with every issue.

Yeah, but they're all just hanging around while we get mostly behind-the-scenes looks at the people pulling Guardian's strings. They're definitely ancillary characters. I would call the MCP story a Guardian story far more than an Omega Flight story. As far as I'm concerned, the next actual Omega Flight story has to deal with what the **** they're gonna do about their getting Beta Ray Bill trapped in a demon dimension.

Frankly, I wouldn't really want an OF series without Oeming, at least. I thought it was pretty ****ed up how Marvel screwed him and Kolins on that.

Never. Number one, I doubt anyone in OF even knows who Bill is. He just sort of appeared at the last minute before disappearing. No one's going to save Bill, dude.
