The Last Great Movie You've Seen - Part 1

THE REVENANT
10/10

Whoever said nothing happens in this movie aside from a guy walking in the snow for two hours probably had the movie on pause for two hours.

WRECK-IT RALPH
10/10

Better than everything to come after it, until Zootopia.

BRIDGE OF SPIES

ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING (1987)

I do not regret calling the second one great.

Mad Max:Fury Road

Have seen it more times than I can remember, get sucked in by its relentless pace every time !

Silence. It stays with you and Andrew Garfield is amazing in it.

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN
An interesting and highly enjoyable Spielberg film.

ARRIVAL
I really like it.

BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA
It's a magnificent experience.

Best Of Enemies - Wonderful documentary about Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley going head-to-head on national TV during the late 60s Republican and Democratic national conventions. Really fascinating film. I knew more about Gore Vidal than Buckley through his work in-film (he's outstanding in Bob Roberts, but I had no idea that he also wrote the script for Caligula as well), but both personalities are brilliant and they'll have you flip-flopping between who you like more almost constantly. Hugely entertaining stuff and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an insightful documentary to watch. 9/10

"A Monster Calls." It would sound too silly to try and describe out loud, but if you see one movie this year, make it this one.

HACKSAW RIDGE
JOY = 10/10

I loved it, and I'd love to see good ol' Mel Gibson handle his Suicide Squad with the same kind of quality.

Moana Really well done. I love the characters, setting , mythology. It all fits together so well.

Guardians of The Galaxy vol.2.

Woop! :D
