glad to hear you found a pack.

Guys, this has nothing to do w/ the Lizard but I was wondering if anyone here owns a Tegu lizard or has had experience w/ them b/c I'm thinking about getting one in the future. However, I've been hearing that some tegus are tamed while others are aggressive and need to know which are the best ones to raise as a pet.

Hey Guys, I was wondering IF the first post could be edited to include a little bio on the Lizard and feature a bit of back story. Or perhaps put it in a different post, either or. Anyway, I know the basics of Lizard, but he seems like a more intriguing character the more I think about it, and would like some of the gaps filled. Thanks in advance!:woot:

These are some good up-to date profiles on him.

Best Spidey villain IMO. Or my favorite at least (I suppose GG and Doc Ock are the best).

Visually, character-wise and a number of great stories.

With that said I think modern writers starting with Jenkins have butchered him. Turning him into a through and through villain and conners a killer who wants to turn into the Lizard.

Bad writing, now.

No problem, guy's!:cwink:

I've read some reprint's of these issues, great stuff!

I own those issues. Great stuff. Pure classic Spidey gold. This was the heyday when Peter would hang with Flash (Vietnam-bound), Harry and get in middle of Gwen vs. MJ while battlign a classic baddie.

The storyline itself with the Lizard and hte broken arm combined with the one from the '90s about Lizard trying to cure himself but in actuallity could be killing himself would IMO make a great villain plotline for SM4. Along with the '90s homage to ASM #33 where Pete is trapped under rubble and uses his love and respect for Ben to lift it and himself after almost forsaking Conners.

Great stuff.

I thought Lizard was going to post new pics of his collection since the old ones are down

I asked him to in a pm, he said alot of his Lizard stuff was in boxs but he said he would post pics. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

uh I asked him anout 2 months ago not afew days ago. So don't be looking forward to it.

OK, OK. I know I've been slacking on that. I'm going to have to photograph a bunch of individual things instead of the whole collection at once because I don't have space to put it out now.

However, the requests have been heard and I'll post a few pics of the more interesting items.

Cool, I can't wait to see them.

OK, I've posted some Lizard figure photos in the "Lizard Collection" thread in the Products forum at last. Here's one of them:

There plenty more stuff where that came from, I just have to re-organize my place and get some pics taken. In loading these pics up to Photobucket, I noticed a few other random Lizard-related photos that I haven't posted in a while, so this seems like a good place to post them...

Someone's custom Lizard costume. Pretty good, but what's with the red nails?

Suggestion for a new comic title: The Lizard Loves Mary Jane.

For some reason there still isn't a Lizard Mini-mate figure, but here's a custom

Wow! I love the lizard merchandise you have. How long did it take to collect all the Lizard stuff you have now?

Started in the late '70s when I was but a wee lad.

I had been reading Marvel's Godzilla comic since I loved dinosaurs and Godzilla. Then I saw Peter Parker the Spectacular Spider-Man #34, with Lizard on the cover and that was where the whole thing began.
