World The Lizard's sewer

huh MTV Spidey show, I only seen one pic and it was the one with Lizard. The model was far from classic so I thought the show would of been bad.
I personally hated it. Didn't get to Spidey's core at all. It just catered to MTV veiwers.

Here's the intro....

There were some pretty cool fight scenes in this show...Spidey pretty much kicked ass every time, which was a breath of fresh air in comparison to the 90's series, where Spider-Man was basically a punching bag...

Other than that, i agree that the basic message of Spider-Man was somewhat absent...

Kind of Lizard appreciation thread, right..? OK, I'll contribute with this :woot:

..from a What If.. (v2 #42), in case you wonder

^ The writer made a mistake in that issue, since Connors is missing his right arm, not his left. :cwink:

Ha - yeah, I know - that issue is "What If Spider-Man Had Kept His Six Arms?"

I guess that continuity isn't that important in the What If stories anyway.

Some better quality shots of the TSSM Lizard figure shown at SDCC 08.

Apparently this is from an Italian Spidey book. Never heard of it before but it looks pretty cool. None of you would happen to know anything about it, would you?

I just saw an ad on TV for the season premiere of the Simpsons, which had Homer in a superhero costume fighting the Lizard holding a ray-gun. Purple pants, tattered lab coat, black undershirt and all.
:liz:

He did indeed, and I have those issues. They're delightfully cheezy fun. I'd actually like to see the Iguana make a comeback.

I think Doc. Connors started teaching at ESU in those issues, didn't he?

Marco Checchetto, he just did ASM #598 and some of 599. He's also going to be doing the upcoming Ben Reilly story.

Huh. I wasnt overly impressed with the art in American Son. Surprising.
