According to twitter his daughter is saying it's revenge porn, and that Park has physically and mentality abused her and his brother for ages. Also she apparently doxxed him while saying all the horrible stuff she is saying he did to her, including threatening to kill her if she went to the police. Also apparently his wife said he's nasty and was hoping people would report the post to get it taken down, because I guess Park put it up there on purpose. So... yeah.

Ray had also previously posted something about Daniel Logan (Yes, Boba Fett) fooling around with his wife or something...the whole thing is just one ugly mess. His kids should not have to have something like that about their mum posted on social media...it’s all pretty ugly and disappointing.

Honestly, Ray Park as cool as he looked and fought in the first film, hasn't really been Darth Maul to me for a long time. Hell, he's never even voiced the character. If they wanted to recast I'd be super happy with it. Scott Adkins looks very appropriate, and I'd love it if they'd just put Witwer in the makeup. Especially as I feel like TCW and Rebels version of the character (my favorite take) looks more like him anyways imo.

I think Ray’s physicality always added to Maul’s character. I could tell in that final arc of TCW that it was Ray doing the mo-cap and I think it made that whole sequence feel more authentic to the character, so I was never against him playing Maul going forward. I think he does genuinely bring something to the character whenever he performs.

Witwer does the lion’s share of the character work, so I’d never say no to him physically playing Maul but right now my choice would be an Adkins/Witwer combo to maintain some of that physicality that the role requires.

The rumoured Crimson Dawn series (pinch of salt and all that) is supposedly a Breaking Bad in Star Wars show, with Maul and Qi’ra as the Walt and Jesse going up against Black Sun and Prince Xizor.

So it sounds like he would be a more dramatic presence requiring more actual...well acting. Though, they’d be crazy if they had a Darth Maul series and not try and deliver the most insane fight scenes. That’s a huge part of his appeal.

Well...that sounds amazing. I would 100% support Witwer taking on the role for that. And for the insane fight scenes, well, that's what stunt doubles are for. Surely there are some with similar skills to Park out there. Hell, I bet there are a lot of stunt people who got into that field in the first place because of Maul/Park in TPM.
