Love the look of Bane, yeah, it'd be nice to see him in live-action.

Loved that Jakku frontier-posse cop guy that was cut from TFA too, always felt like Star Wars Wyatt Earp is just a no-brainer. We've gotta get that someday, som honest-cop gunslinger guy with a real aversion to bounty hunter types.

If they are already filming, does that mean someone else is going to be in the Mandalorian suit on set?

We don't know. Obviously there are going to be stunt doubles and all, but that promo photo we've seen could have been made months ago. Maybe all the stuff they shot before the guy was confirmed for the role was just second unit, or scenes not involving him. Aside from doubles for the stunts, I'm sure the lion's share will be him, it's unlikely to be a Jones/Prowse dealio where he's just doing voiceover.

Not sure who the Cobb Vanth character is, as I haven't read the stories where he shows up, just descriptions, and yes he appears to be on Tattoine, and if the Jawa appearance leak is legit so is the Mando character, which makes the connection even stronger.
Although correct me if I'm wrong, I thought the whole point, set up or premise of the Cobb Vanth character is that it's implied he got from the Jawa scavengers and is wearing specifically Boba Fett's armor.
Which this Mando is not.

Cobb's just the random dude who stole dead-Sarlacc-Boba's armor.

I doubt this is that, it'll just be some other displaced Mandalorian, sans clan and all. Like, pretty sure Jango & Boba were confirmed to never have even been actual Mandalorians to begin with, right? Jango was just some dude who hung with them a while and made off with a set of armor.

But yeah, Boba himself better not have survived the Sarlacc. If this is Cobb with his armor with a new paintjob I'd be cool with it, doubt it's the case though.

Nice. While I like the teaser photo a lot, I already pretty much assumed he’d debut a new costume by the end of the season but I wouldn’t mind it happening a lot sooner.

I hope he gets a more traditional set of classic matching armor like Jango. Can’t beat a badass design like that.
