It is very much true. I can see the green undertones quite well, as do others who have posted.

He was there, saw the green in the hair, and said that there was definately something strange up with Heath's skin.

Exactly.

I would think that it's easier to remove dye on short notice than to add it, and I seriously doubt the Joker's going to stop in the middle of a major bank-heist (with authorities en route to the spot, no doubt) to put on makeup and to [somehow magically] dye his hair.

And, besides, why would the bank manager be so horrified at him in his clown makeup (why would he call him a "freak", either?) if he just saw him put it on for five minutes. And, besides, not much a reveal to the audience, is it?

If he is permawhite and has green hair, I say he enters the bank, wipes off his makeup and dye, smears on some black eye-makeup and red paint, and woopdy do.

Yep. It's a hell of a lot easier to remove make-up and dye than it is to apply it. And the lipstick and black eyeliner is VERY easy to put on.

As an art teacher it's good to know I can still recognize the color green when I see it. Thanks for the support, as a longtime lurker on this board I have much respect for you and your posts.

I don't get why it's still a bannable offense. WB clearly isn't enforcing it anymore, or else sites like LR wouldn't be posting them.

I guess it's like that thing that parents do.

It sucks. Cuase I REALLY want to post my side-by-side of Jack Joker in the art museum and Heath Joker in the interrogation room.
 
seriously, mods help out here, why are these pics banned? by now, esp after the WSS pic, these should be 'legal'... they need to be posted and discusses further, esp for those who havent seen em.
 
Has the ban on the leaked pics been lifted ? It looks like it.
 
I think we've hit upon something in this thread that, really, there is no answer for at the moment. I can't imagine any possibility that makes sense as to why he goes in with brown hair, and then reveals himself, and it's green.

If he dyes his hair green, then that means he dyes his hair sometime after entering the bank but before taking off his mask. That doesn't make any sense, nor is it plausible in such a fast-paced situation. The Joker doesn't have time to do that, so it gets thrown out.

The second option is that his hair is dyed brown, and somehow, it gets wiped away and the green shows through. But there's a problem with this, as well - even if Joker's hair is hastily dyed, it wouldn't be possible to "wipe" or even wash it away that quickly. Ever have your hair dyed? It doesn't fade after one wash - it takes months and months. Joker's hair couldn't fade from brown to green in under five minutes, either.

So there's something else going on here, like I said. Perhaps he's wearing a wig, and tears it off as he removes the mask. Or maybe he's dyed his hair with something that will wash out easily - food coloring or Kool-Aid (I hear this works, actually.) But how does it wash out in the first place? Do the sprinklers go off? Does he run into the bathroom and put his head under the faucet?

It just doesn't make any sense, really. But I will submit this - perhaps Joker is only "permawhite" on his face. I know the traditional comics Joker is all-white, but what if Nolan's Joker has just been bleached/chemically burned/whatever on his face, leaving the rest of his body normal? He puts on lipstick and black eye makeup, but the rest is natural. It would appear that he actually wears white makeup, but in actuality, his face is all-white, sans a few areas that didn't get affected. It would be the perfect ruse, in my opinion.

I have felt since I heard this rumor that his face is the only thing white. Like someone dunked his head in acid or whatever.
