I would hope her casting would be a combination of a number of different things.
1. She would have to look right with Andrew Garfield. As in they should look good together and they should have good, natural chemistry.
2. She would have to look young, so under 25 preferably.
3. She needs to resemble Mary-Jane from the comics. (When she is in costume, hair and make-up.)
4. She needs to display a wide range of emotions you would see from Mary-Jane in the comics and she needs to be an actress who is good at playing a 'Mary Jane' type character. To make the character real, modern and believeable.
5. To some extent she needs to have chemistry with Emma Stone. Believe it or not Kirsten Dunst had alot of chemistry with Bryce Dallas Howard. The two are really good friends out of acting. It needs to make sense that the two women he loves so dearly I kind of similar in ways.
