It was spectacularly imaginative, especially when contrasted with the increasing brutality of her real world. I, along with most other people on the planet, thought it was fantastic. But to each their own.

Dark City I couldn't really get into, it was so... muted, you know? Like the whole film was a setup for something that didn't ever arrive.

As for Darren Aronofsky, I think his strangest movie by far was Pi. I've seen it a few times and I still don't get it.
