Bruv, after you’ve seen the Dr Strange and Zombies episodes from season 1, you don’t need to see anything else.
I didn't even love the Zombies one, lol! But I do credit that one as being a unique episode with a unique premise. So I am glad they did it even if I didn't love it

I liked What If season 2 lol
I find animation an easy watch and not a big loss if I happen to not like it (compared to live action shows). I’ll give it a try one day but probably not within a year or so. I haven’t even completed the must-see shows that have come out recently that I got halfway through.

I didn’t even finish S2 of What If…? I liked some episodes, but others could have been better.

Marvel Zombies is still happening, surprisingly.

I wish I could be on that team, lol! But I think there is like....maybe 5 episodes I feel like I may rewatch at some point again. Which is almost a .250 batting average. Decent for baseball, but not so much a show, lol

I want to be hopeful for Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, but I don't see it in the cards either.

Especially when they are RIGHT THERE.

The artist formerly known as Spider-Man Freshman Year is just a What If episode stretched into an entire season. I see that show sucking badly now.

Like, I get the kids are a big demographic, but Jesus, how many more animated shows of Peter in high school do we have to sit through? When I was a kid, Peter was a grown ass man with a job and MJ was on a soap with a cigarette habit.

I'm over it lol.

I dont have an issue with a high school based Spider-Man show. That's fine. Its the fact this was initially a prequel to the MCU Spider-Man that has morphed into a What If show that just doesn't work. If you want a MCU Spider-Man show, make it. If you want a completely divorced from the MCU Spider-Man show, make it. A hybrid of the 2 ideas is destined to fail

I'm massively ready to see Peter move on beyond high school now. I loved that progression in the comics and it will be great to see Holland in that new environment working at the Bugle and delivering pizzas, struggling to make ends meet while fighting crime and trying to balance/salvage relationships. The next film really needs to make the emotional impact of his old friends not knowing him hit hard, and could give a chance to make new friends (like Felicia :cwink: ).

Also, if they really are rewriting 97 season 2, possibly to get around the guild issues of removing DeMayo's credits, that is going to totally **** up the production pipeline. Recording for Season 2 was done, a rewrite probably means they have to bring them back in. And good lord knows what it means for the animation.

Yeah, I don't know what the guild rules say on a situation like this. That also likely means a sizable delay if they have to redo the animation

I'm ok with a Spider-Man show starting in high school, as long as we see things progressing, Peter growing, moving to college, etc...

If Friendly Neighborhood flops it will be a shame because I really enjoyed the animation visual. I think it looks really cool.

Hey.

Halle is 58 and stunting on some girls half her age. I wish WB had the balls (no pun) to let her be Selina Kyle and see what she could really do.

Catwoman was always more her speed than Storm, IMO.

I like to believe that with age I'm mature enough to not go all Stanley Ipkiss every time a celebrity posts a sexy pic these days.

But those pictures she posted with the kittens a few weeks back did this to my brain:

See also: the thirst trap pics that Sydney Sweeney posted on IG today. :o

I dig the passion, I really do. But in the end....it's for Catwoman. Which is a trash movie. Cannot endorse lol

Down boy!

And speaking of, I really admire the restraint of the studios for not giving us another Mask sequel/reboot.

It’s about time for one.

Hear me out.

Compared to Madame Web, was Catwoman reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaallllly that bad?

I have enough room in my heart to admit both suck really badly
