The only thing I side eye you for is not putting Terminator as number one.

Granted, he had more lines in Predator, but he was FRIGHTENING in T1.

T1 is still the best movie in that franchise. That’s just a plain fact.

It's another Alien vs. Aliens argument for me. Both are worthy of the #1 spot but the ending of T2 just gut punches me in the best way.

Imma be real and everybody knows how big of a fan I am about Big Jim... True Lies? it's okay.

True Lies is my least favorite Cameron movie. I like it but there's WAY too much Tom Arnold in it.

Batman & Robin is shockingly low for you. But respect for showing Last Action Hero the respect it deserves.

We don’t talk about Kindergarten Cop enough and it breaks my heart.

It’s unhealthy how many times I watched that and Ninja Turtles 90 on VHS.

Kindergarten Cop and Last Action Hero need to be revisited.

Especially Last Action Hero being one of the best and one of the earliest meta-action comedies.

It's low but Last Action Hero deserves all the praise it gets. It's insane how everybody let that movie down.

It never had a chance. Maybe if it didn't open literally one week after Jurassic Park, things might have been different. I'm just glad it's become kind of a cult classic after the fact.

Oh I also rank Alien over Aliens, I meant comparing them is similar to T1 vs. T2 for me where I can easily see why people would rank either as # 1. Same thing with Godfather 1 and 2.

By the way, Brian Dennehy was one of the all-time greats.
He was so great as the tough guy who intimidated you just with his personality. He was a hefty guy, but there was something in the way that he carried himself that made you feel like he could squash you with his bare hands. But he also always seemed smart and calculating so he could break you physically or mentally. That’s why he was so good as a heavy villain. But he also could play the kind and compassionate type like in Cocoon.

He always reminded me a lot of my dad. My dad was a cop who did community policing before it was a thing. He inserted himself into communities and built relationships with people. He didn’t arrest people very much and he never had to pull a weapon because he treated people with respect. But he also had a similar physical presence in that you knew that if he ever were to fight someone it wouldn’t end well for that person.

I guess my relating Dennehy to my dad is one of the reasons I have always loved his work.

He’s also great as the bad guy in Silverado (criminally underrated western).

Yeah I was shocked. Terribly sad, 39 is way too young to go.

I've never watched Buffy or Gossip Girl but she was all over my childhood between Harriet the Spy and The Adventures of Pete and Pete.

Conan The Barbarian is somewhere in there too, but those movies are god tier.

I love that movie even though a lot of actors just seemed miscast. I had trouble buying Kevin Kline as a tough guy gunslinger. He’s far too genteel. His “you’re wearing my hat” line wouldn’t intimidate anyone.
And a lot of the actors were just too modern-looking if that makes sense. Jeff Fahey looked like a guy from the 1980’s trying to look like a guy from the 1880’s. He was the poor man’s Michael Biehn.

But Dennehy killed it in that film.

How about a spiritual sequel called The Last Superhero where it's a CBM movie the kid is sucked into.
