The New and Improved "Heroes vs. Villains: Marvel" RPG

Venom swings down to the Human Torch as the crowd gathers around him. "Torch, we are here to help. What happened?" Venom asks as he lands, his presence scaring the crowd. They know him as a monster. They don't know his intentions to help however...

*Johnny is confused with Venom appearance and offering aid. The crowd, now numbering around the hundreds are all at a stand still surrounding venom and Johnny,at the site of Venom.*

"I don't know, I was trying to help a girl, and she started yelling then everyone started to gather. All saying they lost something or someone because of the nuclear blast, now demanding why I didn't prevent the blast. I think they want to lynch me. I though about putting up a fire barrier, but I don't want to seem like a threat. Now, you here its going to get worse. We're dealing with New Yorkers."

Middle aged mother

"YO! He's teaming up with that spider-freak Venom, get 'um!"

*A hail of Mai Thai specials and bricks are thrown towards venom and Johnny.*

"RUN!"

[Midnight Ice]

After things have calmed down Photon returns to the Avengers mansion to (again) rest up a bit before returning to New Oleans. Greeting Javis at the door as he enters.

OOC: you know, daredevil has been banging on the avengers door for a while, lierally. maybe you just missed those posts

OOC: I don't think you understood my last post..I meant why don't you just radio them and have them open it.

And secondly, I know ya'll wanna move this game along but please don't bunny my character and her feelings.

*Iceman walks up to cell #1135 only to see Wolverine locked inside
"Hey buddy, need some help or did you tick Fury off with your oh so lovable demeaner?"

OOC: Actually I did saw them, But I thought that happend after I arrived. But that should be easy to correct

Soon after Photon found a confortable place on the couch with a paper. She's alerted by a persistant knocking on the door. Yelling "I got it" to the avenger's loyal butler she gets up to answer the door in his place (seeng that the building didn't reconize who ever is on the outside as a enemy). And comes face to face with 'the man without fear' "Ah. Daredevil. Please come in." Photon greets him.

Gambit follows Rogue into the room and stands behind her. He gets out his playing card and charges. ' What the ****'

 

[Keyser Soze]

OOC: iceman, Wolverine isn't in the cell anymore. He broke out and came after me. I pumped him full of tranqs and left him lying in the hallway near Nick Fury's office...

Bullseye spun round to face the intruders. He spotted a rather hot looking young lady and a greasy-looking Cajun holding a playing card.

"Hey! Nice playin' card. You should see the stuff I can do with playin' cards. I got this one trick where I..."

In mid-sentence, Bullseye swipes a pen off of Nick Fury's desk and throws it at Gambit's hand, the one holding the playing card. Before Bullseye can see if his shot hits its target (he assumes it does), Bullseye leaps forward, tackling Nick Fury to the ground and dragging him behind the desk.

Bullseye pulls out the radio mic from his guard uniform and puts a dispatch out to the hangar.

"Doc, change of plan. We got company in Fury's office."

 

[1985evs]

Gambit sees the incoming projectile and catches the pen in his left hand 'amature' he says 'try this on'. He charges up the pen.

 

[Keyser Soze]

"Your callin' Bullseye an amateur? Try this on for size!"

Bullseye bounces to his feet, snatching a paper-clip from Fury's desk. He throws it right through the charging pen, snapping it open and sending a squirt of ink into Gambit's eyes.

"You're little party trick ain't gonna scare me, pal. What are you, a mutant? At one point I thought that I might be a mutant, but apparently I'm not. Now you're gonna learn the hard way that I don't need to be a mutant to kill your sorry ass."

Gambit fires another paper-clip at the stunned Gambit, aiming this one at his throat.

Gambit holds up his staff and lets the paper clip bounce off it. 'Rogue take that sucka down'. He then whispers 'Ill distract him'. Gambit charges a couple of cards and throws them at bullseye and the table. He gave them an added charge to cause a bigger explosion. The cards flew at him. A couple hit the table and made a massive explosion , 'maybe that was a bit too much juice' said Gambit.

 

[Keyser Soze]

The desk was destroyed, meaning that Bullseye no longer had any protection to shield him. He bragged Nick Fury and held him in front of him.

"Wow! You can make things explode rather than just glow. Now I'm really scared."

Bullseye laughed spitefully.

"But here's the problem, Cajun boy. If you try and throw anything else at me, you're gonna take out the head of SHIELD. Now you wouldn't want that on your conscience, would you?"

 

[The Joker]

There was a slight rumbling on the floor of Nick Fury's office.Suddenly two tentacles burst thru the floor and Doc Ock came up thru the large gaping hole."Ladies and gentleman-Fasten your seatbelts" Ock said mockingly.

He shot out a tentacle and colied it around Nick Fury."Ah my dear Fury.Forgive us but we require the pleasure of your company.I must say I have been touring this little facility of yours and I am impressed.Something that is not easily done.Your lab facilities in particular.Had everything your average bomb maker could need" Ock said looking at Gambit and Rogue.

"Now you're probably thinking I am going to use Nick Fury here as my bargaining chip to escape.Well Doctor Octopus is a little more creative than that.Like I said I was most impressed with your lab facilities.I was able to whip up 10 C4 explosives in 10 minutes.Though having 4 extra arms did help some what" Ock said with a mocking laugh.

"And the detonator for each too is simple electronics" Ock said holding up the detonator control for them to see."Now as for the explosives themselves.I made enough C4 to blow up 10 SHIELD fortresses.And I have placed them in 10 different strategically placed hiding places throughout this facility.I did that little chore on my search for the hangar containing our helicarrier.Which I learned to my disappointment is not here.Apparently it is post-atmospheric. Meaning, it's almost pretty much in space.Just outside our own atmosphere".

"Now this wont do at all" Ock said with a narrow smile."So heres the deal.You will acquire transport for myself and Bullseye here.Or else I detonate the bombs.How many SHIELD employees are working here? Several thousand?"

Doc Ock smiled sinisterly."I just nuked New York city.Believe me I have no hesitations of destroying this miserable tin can in the sky".Ock coiled another tentacle around Nick Fury's neck."Now get us some transportation,or you all go up in a mushroom cloud"

Gambit looked on...He said something in a whisper that the others couldnt make out. 'ok rogue?'

 

[Keyser Soze]

Bullseye picked up the gun that he had dropped after ducking behind the desk. He pointed it at Gambit and Rogue.

"And if you try and get in our way, I'll kill you myself. But shouldn't you freaks be off trying to save SHIELD or somethin'?"

Gambit looked at the gun 'Rogue did we mention your invunrable to bullets?'

 

[Doc Destruction]

[Keyser Soze]

Bullseye smirked.

"Well, I don't think you're in any position to stop us. The Doc told you that the whole base is rigged with C4. If you try and stop us, we all go up in flames."

Bullseye stared at Gambit, looking for any signs of weakness or frustration.

"By the way, did you find your friend, the one I left lying out in the hallway? Little furry guy with claws. I'm assumin' he's a mutant as well, and that you're his friends. That's why you're here, lookin' for him. Tell me, what's his name? What are your names? Hell, who are you people?"

 

[The Joker]

Gambit looked at the gun 'Rogue did we mention your invunrable to bullets?'

"And yet I doubt you are unvunerable to C4 explosives.Or would you be willing to allow thousands to die so you can play the hero?" Ock said mockingly.

"Fetch us some transport" he snarled as he coiled the tentacle tighter around Nick Fury's neck."Or I'll rip out his spine and pin it to the wall".

"Not to mention your precious SHIELD fortress becomes a cloud of dust" Doc Ock laughed.

 

[The Joker]

Stabbing pain in the shoulderblades of Ock take him by surprise.

"Here, bub...Bullseye dropped these. Thought YOU might like 'em."

Ock reaches up and pulls the three tranq darts out of his shoulder.

"Meddlesome......you...."

Collapsing unconcious, Ock's last sight is Wolverine's smirk. Logan points to Bullseye.

"Awright punk...now where were we?"

[Doc Destruction]

Stabbing pain in the shoulderblades of Ock take him by surprise.

"Here, bub...Bullseye dropped these. Thought YOU might like 'em."

Gambit said 'We're the Xmen , maybe you heard of us , no?' Believe me maybe if this was cyclops or beast , I dunno theyd be willing to accomodate your needs but not me'
Gambit reached inside his jacket and pulled out a handfull of cards 'fifty two card pickup!!!' He hurled the whole deck in the direction of Doctor Octopus all charged' He noticed Wolverine attacking ock from behind.

 

[Keyser Soze]

After taunting Gambit, Bullseye heard a familiar voice behind him.

"Awright punk...now where were we?"

Bullseye spins round, momentarily forgetting Gambit and Rogue.

"Speak of The Devil. You're tougher to get rid off than a puppy with a hard-on. It looks like I'm going to have to just kill you all."

Bullseye ducks to the floor, picking up some splinters of wood from the destroyed desk. He throws one at Gambit, one at Rogue, and one at Wolverine.

The splinters got cault by sone of the cards Gambit had thrown at the villians and were taken out.

OOC: gogode can you edit your post to accomodate Wolverine? Plus, I think throwing all your cards at an unconscious Doctor Octopus is a bit unsporting. And I have to say it's a bit unfair to tranq Doc Oc kwhile he's active. We'll say that most of the tranq was emptied into you, Wolverine. There's only enough left in the darts to make Ock woozy for a couple of minutes.
