There were no bad actors...just bad characters :hehe:

And nobody can fault Simmons..
nobody!
I thought that all of the characters were ok apart from Eddie Brock and Peter when he became evil under the influence of the symbiote. As for what you said about Simmons, I couldn't agree more.

For me as I said over in news thread if it was just down to gould and asa I take ada over him. Even though asa isn't my ideal choice. He is someone i could warm up more on.

April 1st was also Asa Butterfield's 18th birthday. Congrats, Asa. :woot:

Rooting for Asa if there's a teen actor. O'Brien still my main man though.

As much as those eyes creep me out...Asa would be a fine pick, and he's a talented youth that Marvel will surely be considering.

Asa Butterfield is Spider-Man. Announcement coming soon.

That baby faced dude? Nah, I'm good.

When mommy says you can watch a PG-13 movie tonight.

That is a older pic of him. But he is a bit baby face. But like I said earlier if asa was picked I could warm up on him and hope he could pull off both sides of peter and spidey.

I wouldn't pass on him just because he's baby faced. 4 wins. 13 nominations. The kid has talent. He has a decent look for Peter...not PERFECT, but good enough.

As much talent as he may have, I get the feeling hed be like Tobeys take

That I fear too. I like someone who can and has shown both sides of peter and spidey. But the humor for film I don't worry about with mcu. It's just more on can said pick display humor well enough.

I said it in the other thread, but if Asa Butterfield is Peter, they can get Peyton List for MJ since she would be the right age. She would be a great choice.

Most importantly, List is very bubbly and outgoing like MJ and could complement Asa since he seems more reserved. Butterfield would probably need someone like that to play off and draw him out of himself and to create chemistry, as it
would be harder with someone more reserved herself. The only problem is that she's going to be the lead in a spinoff of Jessie so I don't know how that's going to work out schedule wise.

Yep, Asa lacks energy

Nah. Tobey has this meek little voice and it made Spider-Man seem more like a kitten rather than a tiger, you know?
Watching Asa, he's good with his quips...in a cool sort of way, you know? He's very humorous, but it's dry. He doesn't go overboard. But would that effect his performance? Who knows? Asa is somebody I'd easily buy as the intellectual, nerdy outcast...wise cracking superhero? There's little, not nothing at all, to suggest it...but maybe he can. For someone like Dylan O'Brien, he wouldn't have to act, he'd just be himself, and that's why he's easy to picture. But I have faith in Asa. He's a good actor, and he can be funny. All he has to do is act that he's hilarious and convey it in such a way that it's believable...and if Marvel and Sony have seen this and bought it enough to cast him, then that's all the better for us!

But daying that. Spidey cracks jokes, and of course, as it wouldn't be too hard to guess...if the actor's delivery isn't humorous...then it'll be a total disaster.

Asa cracking jokes in a dry manner...nope. Wouldn't work.

That dryness is very British, almost Hugh Laurie like, and I mean real British Hugh Laurie, not acerbic American House version.

Spider-Man might consume tea and crumpets when smashing Shocker :p

Whatever they announce we gotta deal with it. Be it Asa, Cameron Boyce, or Donald Glover.
