Love all the Jordan love.

As far as who is better then who:

I consider Bill Russel the god of Basketball, & Jordan Jesus.

too much love... and you're pretty much right.. dude can walk on water in here:o

So when is the NBA finally going to get wise and retire the number 23 league wide?

As far as Kobe and LeBron, the game they play in and dominate would seem like child's play to Jordan in the game he played in and dominated through the 80s and early 90s. It's easier than ever to score. If you played defense today the way they did back then, you'd foul out not even half way through the first quarter. There's been a *****fication of the game throughout the years. I mean, not that we shouldn't already know he's the best, Jordan still averaged over 20 points a game when he came back and played at 39 and 40 years old with the Wizards. At 40 years old he's still able to put up those numbers? Imagine if he played in his prime in today's NBA.

When LeBron or Kobe average around 40 points a game, be as good defensively as they are on offense, win as many MVP and Finals MVPs, and do that on a consistent basis, year in year out, every single game, THEN they can be in the discussion. Right now, no one is close. The best compliment I can give Kobe is that he is the best Jordan imitator.

Remember the Bad Boy Pistons of the 1980's? They were always the wall that Jordan and the Bulls ran into during the playoffs every year. You are right, if those guys played today they would have fouled out very quickly if they used their typical strategy against Jordan.

I miss NBA old skool style like that. Throwing clothslines, elbowing people, wrapping guys up. Bad Boys baby! Now they made it into a girls sport.

Why they get rid of the hand check rule? They need to bring back the old skool style NBA. This little girls game now not cutting it.

LBJ cries now these days when a guy taps him on the shoulder, imagine if this dude played in the 90s with Gary Payton and them.

lies... you just trying to butter me up:whatever:

Bump that. I liked Jordan's speech. That's him; competitive, cocky, maybe even a little vindictive. Whatever. There wasn't a disingenuous word in there. Not every Hall speech needs to be a weepy-eyed, thank you fest that either moves people to tears or moves your stomach to churn (depending who you are). **** you, Wojnarowski.

I thnk I liked Stockton's speech the most...

...I don't know...but, Jordan's speech didn't seem genuine...

I have never liked the cookie cutter rubbish most spew, this was the final curtain call for MJ i'm glad he was honest in his speech. I get the feeling some people really thought that this side of Jordan never existed and he was in fact some kind of angel.

That was pretty much Michael being Micheal. I can see why some thought he came off as a cocky *****e, though.

Jordan can be as cocky as he wants to be, he's earned all of that and more.

Well, everybody he said something about deserved it anyway.

is there anywhere you can read all the speeches from the event?
