Can't wait to see the trailer now, so marketing worked on me lol but then again...I couldn't wait already, next few weeks going to be epic!

Wow you're right about Lily. She DOES look quite ripped in that shot (at least from what I could see when pausing it). If they're going to have her buff up that much and then NOT make her Wasp, then man would that be a missed opportunity.

If she's not Wasp now I'm going to have to call the decision plain wrong.

Marvel is so incredibly smart in so many ways.

Now, if they could just fire the peolpe who photochop their posters together, or, better, give them a photoshop manual

Yeah, they stand out like a sore thumb when everything else to do with these productions is managed with high standards and then they let the interns loose on the posters. And not even good interns, there are teenagers on the internet who are producing things that are 10 times better than some official Marvel posters.

The drew struzan style of poster was long abandoned by hollywood once they came to a conclusion that people could give 5/8ths of a flying **** about the posters in some stupid freaking survey they did. So they basically pay photoshop scrubs peanuts to churn soemthing out, that being said, Struzan and other illustrators were charging crazy amounts of money lol, Guillermo del toro paid struzan out of pocket for art for hellboy and hellboy 2 that the studio never used.

They have, they just save those for special edition posters or something like that.

I would love it if Marvel had Bill Sienkiewicz do some posters.

As long as joe average walking out of the theatre sees the floating head of someone they recognize and a movie title, why pay someone to paint?

with Meinerding they have the artist to make old scholl Struzan style theatrical posters work.
But even going with your standard Photoshop montages we get nowadays, they could at least try and match the lights on the persons on the poster or not make the actors unrecognizable (like BW on the TWS posters)

Oh yeah, that's a beautiful logo. The texture, the lightning, is just perfect.
